These days I get little Pokemon hype playing Sword and now I want to make a second Pokemon piece but not brutal/gore.

Here is my current progress on the piece:

@Zuljaras Yeah, I know of those, and they are also still on my to buy list. I had to reign myself in for a while now, though. I've already spent WAY too much again on games and peripherals over the last two months. And I've bought a stack of anime Blu-rays as well. Now I have to live on water and bread for the next month or so. AGAIN. At my age, you'd think I'd know better than to spend too much money on a simple hobby...

@ThanosReXXX The SpaceX has been testing a rocket that can land on mars AND fly people back to earth. The way it flies is kinda spooky, rad AF. Spoiler, there's a little hiccup with the landing, but they're working on it. It's still cool to see.

In my game, there are a lot of Wolves and Bulls Mii with mixture of my other Miis and random Miis from internet. I found there was a female Mii in Bunny / Mouse disguise (didn't really remember) with name Coco Wawa. 🤭
I rarely found Duck / Mouse Miis as they are the shortest Amiimals and i still never found my short Miis got regenerated into Amiimals.

Btw, have you ever encounter the Final form of Grock when you run out the time to destroy all the Grocks during Motorcycle form ?
They are really scary as they ran very fast to your barrack, ate all the scrogs and destroy the barrack after that but they have very rare stones / crystals (Purple stones or crystals) when you fight against them.

@ThanosReXXX Uhh I suppose I'm fine. Like an idiot I still went for a walk despite the warnings and got a nice face full of sand. But I need to not sit on my butt all day every day. lol. I do still have insomnia issues but that just seems to be life for me at this point. There are things I can do, and do do sometimes.

I've been playing a lot of Stardew Valley since the 1.5 update finally dropped. But I'm kicking myself because for some reason I was so sure that Poppy was a fall crop that I didn't even check during summer - and it was a summer crop. So my community center just needs the one thing. I think I can get it during the night market in winter though.

That, and I'm at the tail end of my Xenoblade Chronicles 2 replay with all the DLC. It's a very bitter sweet thing because I love this game so much, but it's ending... XD

And I'm trying to decide what RPG/JRPG I'm gonna play next. I tend to try and only play one at a time. I'm thinking Bravely Default II. But there's plenty of other titles to consider in my backlog too.

@Heavyarms55 @eel I figured I'd ask the pokemon whisperers. First time I'm really getting into the series as I played a little bit of sword back at launch. And I only stopped since it was something me and my daughter were doing every so often. Well now she's doing her own file and so am I.

I'm having such a fun time I bought blue as well. For blue, is it normally grindy? I ask because i was cruising along battling with My starter charmander. Leveling him up mostly. I did notice that the ones I caught didn't automatically level up like they do in sword. So eventually I got to the first gym( rock one) and I didn't have much a problem as he took down all the trainer and just had a slight issue with the gym leader. He was level 14 as was I but all my others were 5-8. Eventually I did have to break them out and start chipping away at his final pokemon to beat him, which I did.

It had me worried so after the gym I decided to level up each pokemon to 10 across the board. So I ask, should I sit back and be on cruise control with my starter (who just evolved thankfully), or do I have to spend tons of time grinding away to gave my others leveled up?

It shouldn’t be too grindy as long as you rotate the Pokémon in your party and give them time to shine every now and then.

@NintendoByNature prior to Pokemon XY Pokemon gain exp independently of each other. So you needed Switch up your party for them to all gain experience. I wouldn't call it grindy personally, but you do need to put more effort and thought into building a balanced team. And only train Pokemon you actually want to use.

If you’re interested though, gen 1 did have the exp share that divided exp across all your party Pokémon.

However, you need to have 80 entries in your Pokédex to obtain it, and you’ll get several “(Pokémon) got X EXP!” messages after every Pokémon you defeat.

If you’re having problems keeping a large team, there’s also the option of training less. 4 Pokémon can be enough, for example.

@Anti-Matter Ah, I am familiar with AbdallahSmash! I've watched some of his material before. Mainly related to Yo-Kai Watch, though mostly his English playthroughs when I was first looking into the series. He plays plenty of other Nintendo games too.

In hindsight, I wish I'd picked up one of the Blasters games too. They stuck around a bit longer than YW3, but both versions are also very rare and expensive.

@Heavyarms55 Isn't it amazing how on-point a blurb in a game from 2007 is? I bought a used copy a couple years ago, played, and beat the game. I died laughing when I read that lol. That entire section of the game is pretty humorous. Few games transition into a pseudo dating sim that involves Peach answering questions. XD

@ThanosReXXX I call it how I see (or read) it! Though I wasn't familiar with that particular meme until I played the actual game and witnessed that moment. The first part of that world is kinda bland/meh, but once you get to the castle, it gets SOOO much better. XD Super Paper Mario has interesting (and occasionally odd) gameplay, but its writing and plot are pretty decent.

@NintendoByNature A balanced team with different Pokemon types will get you a long way! The Gen 1 games are somewhat rough at times compared to modern entries, but they're still worth trying out.

@Tyranexx Not gonna lie. It took me about 15 seconds to remember that screen shot you shared and so I was very confused for a bit. XD

@ThanosReXXX and anyone else interested. Successful SpaceX flight test of the starship SN10. They avoided the previous hiccup of exploding when landing on the previous two attempts. I pasted the video to play at launch.
