@Anti-Matter It's a day we celebrate in Mexico, we remember loved ones who died, and decorate an offering/altar with their pictures and things they liked, to make them "visit us". Among other stuff.

It has prehispanic roots.

@NotTelevision What's even funnier, is making a bit of fun of them while watching, especially if they're completely into it:
"yeah right, so vampires sparkle, and they're completely benevolent" or something like that. Or just make contained laughter or snorting noises of derision and disbelief.

And then, the following weekend, tell her that you now want her to watch a movie with you, and then rent or stream one of the old Hammer House of Horror vampire classics with Christopher Lee as the old Count. That oughta set them straight about what vampires are supposed to be and do.

Chances are, you'll find a sleeping bag on the couch afterwards, though. Nothing scarier than an angry woman, after all...

Don't worry, I'm still alive. Just haven't had a ton of free time between getting back from my trip and all the stuff I have going on. I'm somewhat caught up on housework and laundry now. If only this wasn't "Invite everyone and their cousin to our bonfire!" season....XD

Ugh. Poor Thanksgiving. I really do think it should be illegal for stores and stations to broadcast Christmas music until the clock strikes midnight on Thanksgiving. Heck, I think it should be illegal for Christmas merch to show up in September for Arceus's sake.

That said, I really do like the Christmas season. I just feel like some stores jump the gun quite a bit.

@Tyranexx yea me too. A little tooooo early. But i do love the holidays. I watch the same Christmas movies every year and usually start in a couple weeks around thanksgiving. Same with the Christmas music channel. It's usually my p1 on my radio lol.
