Hazellight Studios' Game of the Year winner at the 2021 Game Awards, It Takes Two, is making the jump to Switch on 4th November. This was one of the many announcements that was heavily rumoured by multiple people last week, but it's fantastic to see this acclaimed title finally hop over to the hybrid console.

This platforming adventure game sees a married couple, who are on the brink of divorce, get turned into dolls by their daughter. Rose then play-acts with the two dolls in an attempt to fix her parent's relationship. The game is a co-op experience designed to be played split-screen with a partner — or friend, or whoever you want (or online, even!). The game's multiple levels are inspired by different genres and each one requires you to co-operate with your partner in order to progress.

The trailer shared by publisher EA gives us a glimpse at what the game will look like on Switch, which looks a bit less smooth than its other console counterparts. But we'll have to wait and see until the game is in our hands before we make our judgements!

Our friends over at Push Square enjoyed their time with the game, calling it an "excellent co-op adventure", though had some criticisms about the inconsistent plot, awarding it an 8/10.
