I'm cooled out. Not gonna buy it. Which sucks because I had planned too and this will just Hurt the Wii U's chances even more. Also I think that Assassins Creed III has crappy combat and I really have not enjoyed it, I'm glad I didn't play the other games in the series.

I think the N64 is my favorite console of all time. Every few months I check eBay for a DD, but I just can't pull the trigger on a $800+ artifact. Maybe if I win the loto one of these days I'll pic one up. It would be such a cool conversation piece to have sitting underneath my TV.

It's weird to think that while I'm eligible for the Deluxe points promotion I'm still likely going to buy the majority of my Wii U games from a brick and mortar store or Amazon. I just can't get over titles being tied to my console as opposed to being tied to my Nintebdo network ID. If they fix that I'll go all digital like I have on my PS3.

RandomNerds commented on Team Meat: We'd Work With Nintendo If Meat Boy...:

I've loved the super meat boy team ever since Indie Game The Movie, it may be a bit pretentious to say they'd work with Nintendo only if meat boy was in Smash but my guess is they were probably half kidding and will eventually work with Nintendo. PS it's not cool to talk negatively about small game shops they work hard to bring us unique IPs.

RE4 using the Wii Remote a nunchuck was perfect. All games in this genre would do well to use that control scheme. That being said, you have to consider the number of control schemes that are available to developers and understand that it's quite possible to make a mistake and certainly impossible to please everyone. I compiled a list of control schemes here: http://randomnerds.com/2013/02/06/twenty-one-input-methods-for-three-consoles-and-growing/

Well seems pointless now, it's nice that Nintendo is including something like Google maps because that data cab be used for other features down the road. Pointless or not if Nintendo's going to compete in this next-generation it needs to keep adding more and more features even if only 10% of them are adopted and used.

At the end of the day all I want is to be able to play the digitial versions of these games on all my Nintendo branded devices without having to buy it for each one. Sony did it right, my PSPgo is loaded with classic games that work seemlesly on most Sony products. So yeah go ahead and remake stuff but don't force me to buy it three times.

RandomNerds commented on Latest Figures Show The Video Game Market Is C...:

Perhaps gross sales are shrinking, but gaming only gets bigger, unless of course it's "crashing" like it did two decades ago which it is not. I just think its harder to track this kind of data because of free to play models and pay to play models. Not to mention the enormous amount of ways to game. I bet if you added up all this data you'd find the market is still growing, as in adding new gamers. Though it may be at the expense of traditional methods of gaming.

@WhiteTrashGuy "What is the difference between this and MB: ENEMY BELOW? Almost downloaded it the other day."

I think the MB: ENEMY BELOW was for a handheld, like gameboy color or something. Overall this game is pretty amazing, it can be punishing, but it is great. There was a refresh made on Wiiware it was pretty good too.
