Build-A-Bear's collaboration with Pokémon is going from strength to strength, and that can only mean one thing: there's another new fluffy monster to build!
That's right, the latest addition to the Pokémon Build-A-Bear lineup is Flareon, an evolution of the already-available Eevee. This is the first Eevee evolution we've seen in Build-A-Bear form, and while this is purely speculation on our part, we imagine this could mean that we'll see more Eevee evolutions in the future.
An official announcement for the new plush has been shared by Build-A-Bear Workshop Australia on Facebook:
NEW! Flareon is the latest Pokémon to join our lineup! Expand your team and shop all our Pokémon exclusively in stores only. Flareon cape sold separately.
The new release is currently only available in-store in Australia; no such announcement has been shared by Build-A-Bear in North America or Europe and the plush isn't appearing on those websites at the time of writing. You'd imagine that it would release worldwide like those that have come before it, though, so make sure to keep an eye out if you're interested.
Update: Flareon is now available in other territories. If you want to check it out in the flesh, you can see it in this unboxing video from Virtually Marti below.
Flareon joins other characters like Pichu, Psyduck and Snubbull, Piplup, Vulpix, Meowth, the wonderful Jumbo-Sized Snorlax and more.

Rip its ears off, glue its tail to its head and you've got yourself a Build-a-Trump (special 'in-windy-conditions' edition).
@Lordplops : Why mutilate a poor, pretty Flareon (Build-A-Flareon) when you can nab yourself a Gumshoos plushie instead?
Now if we can get Umbreon, I'd be all over BaB!
@Lalivero Let's wait for Jolteon and Vaporeon first, then we'd have the Battling Eevee Brothers' Pokemon. We already got Pyro and Mikey down, we just need Rainer and Sparky to go with it.
There's something disturbing about its chin.
