A fresh batch of screens from the upcoming Switch version of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen have cropped up on 4gamer, and we have to say they look rather nice. Capcom ported the original game to PS4 and Xbox One in 2017, and while we're not expecting the kind of fidelity those more powerful consoles can provide, Switch is capable of much more than the platforms it originally launched on back in 2012 (or 2013 for the enhanced Dark Arisen edition), so we've got high hopes.

From the look of these screens, we may be in for a treat:

Lovely, no? While it's probably best to temper expectations, releases like Dark Souls: Remastered showed that games of this vintage can still scrub up well on Switch, even if they're missing some of the visual bells and whistles from their larger home console brethren. There are more shots over at 4gamer, so do pop over there and take a gander.

Think these shots will be representative of the final product them the game launches? Were you expecting better? Drop us a line below.
