Modders love The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - just look at the mods that have patched a playable Zelda into the game, or Linkle for that matter - and the latest unofficial manipulation sees the most iconic character from Final Fantasy lore brought to the lands of Hyrule.
Okay, technically its Link's character model with a few key cosmetic changes, but just look how brilliant it is. Created by the talented YamGaming, the Cloud Strife mod adds in his gravity-defying locks, his instantly recognisable garb and, of course, his imposing Buster Sword.
Check out the video above and let us know what you make of Cloud Strife making an impromptu appearance in Breath of the Wild...

Looks pretty well done, like it could have been a hidden costume provided by the Cloud amiibo or something
Makes me wish BotW had more crossovers.
Great stuff
Wake me up when they add Squall. :B

That's not the Buster Sword, it's the Fusion Sword. Just sayin!
Bleh, not my Cloud. The OG FF7 design is the only one.
Cloud on a bike looks more natural then Link that's for sure.
BoTW can take so manubrio DLCs... would like to see Mario jumping around the shrines! Link riding Yoshi and fighting Bowser in the las castle. Add a co-op mode, please!
Oh... this thing looks brilliant!
@Expa0 I agree!
So they've inserted a character where it adds nothing and, unlike something like Smash Bros. makes no sense in the context of the game. Meh.
Pretty cool.
