Japanese online retailer Rakuten has leaked information regarding two Switch titles ahead of today's Nintendo Direct broadcast.
Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido - previously confirmed for release on 3DS - has been listed by Rakuten on Switch. Both it and the 3DS version launch in Japan on June 8th, according to the retailer.
Rakuten also has this listing for Mario Tennis Aces, which hits Japan on June 22nd, according to the site. Fresh screenshots reveal that Mario, Yoshi, Waluigi, Wario, Donkey Kong, Daisy, Rosalina, and Bowser are all confirmed playable characters.
Hopefully there will be a few more surprises in tonight's Direct, eh?

Eh, i had posted those pictures on Nintendo Switch Discussion forum. 😁
Hopefully this hasn't spoiled the Direct.
Lots of leaks going on. I hope this is stuff that won't be in the Direct...
"Woah!" -Crash Bandicoot
Mario Tennis Aces has some niiiiiice box art!
@crackafreeze You said it!!
What's the Japanese Mario Tennis Aces box art doing in here? lol
Waiting for someone to create marios shoes from this box art
This game looked interesting at E3 but I didn't pay much attention to it due to not playing my 3DS anymore. Pretty keen for it on the Switch, good decision to move it over.
Is anyone else getting ARMS-ish vibes from the Tennis box art?? That may just be me lol
I am legit lookin foward to the sushi game, and it being on switch is amazing! I'd much rather play it there I think.
I don't this sushi game is on very many people's radars, and I don't know that a Switch version will get many people interested either.
Despite the effort and apparant quality, it strikes me as a concept destined for bargain shelf of Wii titles.
I hope we get info on the story mode on Aces - it is for me the breaking point on whether to buy the game or not.

Here a story to ruin a few surprises for you, so hopefully there'll be more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Spanish retailer already leaked that date and then 80% of people wrote it off as the last day of spring placeholder date as the title said "rumour".

But a Japanese retailer says the same exact date so they must be right. Way to slap the Spaniards in the face as untrustworthy liars. And that article wasn't even mentioned in this one, nice consistency there. 😛
Guess a chunk of Nintendo's E3 will have more Aces details. Judging by the release date.
June was surely always going to be the best month for a tennis game? Certainly no one in this country cares about the sport when Wimbledon has finished.
I really hope Mario Tennis comes a little earlier... and I hope it's a LOT better than the unfinished and partially broken Ultra Smash.
Mario Tennis Aces looks great. The box art looks great and if the leaked screen shots are anything to go by, it looks like Power shots are back which is a plus. Only 9 hours fam!
Day 1buy for me on the Mario Tennis. I’m a sucker for that series. Can’t wait until 5pm EST!
Now I desire Sega Virtua Tennis 4...
Aaaaaaand I'm leaving till after the Direct.
The header and subheader of this article should be swapped.
YESH, now I can buy it! Surprised they kept that subtitle for Japan though.
@Alikan Not necessarily. Splatoon 2 didn't have anything more than a passing mention in their E3 presentation last year despite launching in July.
@IceClimbers there was the oodles of treehouse content, not to mention some tournaments. I count them too.
Whoa what Sushi Striker is retail??
Neato, that's actually one of the 3DS game, I was still quite interested in! Now, if only Strange Journey Redux would make it to the Switch ...
@RupeeClock I agree. Not sure why it made the direct really.
