Just recently we shared a European launch trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors, but it turns out it wasn't the most interesting video for the game to come out.

The North American launch trailer confirms that a free Japanese voice pack download will be available on 20th October. There had been confusion around whether Japanese voices would be an option, as the choice had been spotted in older preview builds but had been missing in the latest code; now we know why.

As you can see in the trailer below, it seems like both the Switch and New 3DS versions will have the optional download.

As for the DLC, some details around this and the season pass had been confirmed previously, though now there's a little more meat on the bones. Each pack will have the following.

  • Three new playable characters
  • Three new History scenarios
  • New weapons and costumes
  • New support conversations

So there you have it, some good news ahead of this week's release. Which voice track will you use?
