Hello everyone! Fresh from my on-track success in Mario Kart 8, I thought I'd turn my hand to witchcraft in Platinum Games' superb Bayonetta 2.
In the first of a series of action-packed videos, I run through some of the game's many amazing levels battling demonic beasts so filthy and foul that I had to have a good lie down afterwards to recuperate.
Are you stoked for the release of the game tomorrow? Have you already checked out the amazing Nintendo Life review? What do you think of my playing style in Bayonetta 2? The comments section awaits your input!

Nintendo life,
How much of the game will we get if we choose to play 2 before 1? Is it too dependent on the first one?
Thanks.
@King47 You don't really need to have played the first game to enjoy the second.
@King47 If you didnt play bayo 1 then why not start with it?The game comes with bayo 1+ bayo 2 so no extra money to worry about.
@Damo thanks a lot.
@Platoonleaderg I was planning in doing that, but I've been waiting for 2 and don't want to hold it till I play 1. Besides, I tend to not like to play two similar games in a very small window. So if I play 1, I'll have to wait a while before I want to play 2.
I'm not complaining though.
Lydia, while I liked the video it did not sell the game to me. Not that is should have done of course, that's not what the video is for. But you did seem confused with most of what was going on and it was hard to separate the game play from video footage. I'm in to minds about buying and so wont rush out tomorrow.
I guess it is a must buy for teenage lads. But seriously if it is rated 18 should you not have a warning or something
@Damo if you didn't play the first one, you won't understand the first chapter (the end).
Sweet. More gameplay from Amelia Pond!
Oh Lydia, don't listen to the detractors! I'd much rather watch you play Bayo 2 than Damo, though I'm sure he'd make some rather humorous quips on the transformations all the same.
Maybe some cosplay in the future? Halloween perhaps?
This video is cut up pretty badly, doesnt make much sense when compared to other Let's Plays. There are small jumpcuts for no reason, it's more of a commentary video.
Lydia looks like a young Hellena Taylor.
I had to stop watching because I'm so hyped up to buy this on Friday, and I don't want to see too much!
Like the video though! It's fun hearing Lydia try to keep up and describe the sheer insanity that's going on in the game, hahaha.
Too much talk for my taste, no need to describe everything that's happening on screen, we can see it. Apart from that, I thought it was fun, maybe you should do a let's play AFTER getting some practice with the game on your own, this way you can understand what is going on better, giving more thoughtful tips and more witty and more fitting comments on the story, albeit one as strange as this.
Having said that, well done, and all the best for future videos!
Her reactions to possibly the most sexually-awkward situations in a video-game are hilarious xD
She reminds me of Agent Simmons.
Maybe that's because I just finished watching Agents of Shield.
I like the Mario cameo
@Damo Are you the same dude from gamesradar? If you are, I love that sight. And if you aren't, I love that sight and you should check it out.
Hold on a sec... A woman is playing/enjoying this? Does this qualify as feminist blasphemy?
I really enjoyed this Let's Play episode, especially the honesty and surprises about how the game opens. Knowing that will make it easier to buy it and play it.
Quick question for anyone: this comes with Bayonetta 1. Can I play that off-TV with my GamePad? I'm assuming I can with Bayonetta 2, but what about Bayonetta 1 - is it "True Wii U"? (Be true to your Will U and it will be good to U"!
Amelia Pond?
