It's already been a pretty hectic year in terms of new major releases on Switch, and while May looks to be giving us the slightest of breathers in the 'major Nintendo-published game' department, June is ready and waiting to pummel our poor bank accounts once again.
As always, we've been busy compiling a list of the best Nintendo Switch games and accessories launching over the next couple of months, with highlights including brand new Mario and Fire Emblem games. Below our featured titles, you'll find lots of other games for your perusal, as well as accessories that are launching over the next couple of months. Enjoy!

Touken Ranbu Warriors - 24th May
From Koei Tecmo and Omega Force, Touken Ranbu Warriors is the latest in a long line of Warriors games – Nintendo fans will no doubt already be aware of the Zelda and Fire Emblem Warriors games born as a result of the series. We had mixed feelings towards this one when we reviewed the Japanese version of the game earlier this year, but it did go on to top the Japanese charts, proving it still has a considerable audience. One to consider, then?
Mario Strikers: Battle League - 10th June
Mario Strikers is back, baby! Yes, bringing the series to Switch for the first time, Mario Strikers: Battle League comes with its usual chaotic, over-the-top action, but also packs in some exciting new multiplayer options. Local multiplayer will support up to eight players, and an online 'Clubs' mode will have up to 20 players active at one time. We're very, very intrigued. More pre-order options are available here.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes - 24th June
Just in case one Warriors game wasn't enough, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes brings even more Musou action to Switch on 24th June. It will, as you might expect, add to the story found within Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and will even have three different paths that pair you up with one of the three major houses from the original game. More pre-order options are available here.
If you're feeling hungry for more Claude and the gang, this one's for you.

My choices:
Time on Frog Island
My Little Pony
My Universe: Green Adventure - Farmer Friends
I still keep my eyes on Let's Get Fit as the game have some nice looking male trainers.
Also, you can see my games choices are always the unusual / unpopular picks.
Capcom Fighting Collection, FE Warriors and Mario Strikers are my main gets. Not sure if I am getting them all day one though. The backlog beckons.
Nothing in May but a few in June that I'll be picking up. LOOPERS, Omori and AI: The Somium Files - nirvanA Initiative. All games not listed here funnily enough.
Star Melody: Yumemi Dreamer as well if it releases in that time but it's still just got a placeholder date which has already been pushed back once so who knows when that'll actually come out.
I'll definitely be getting Mario Strikers: Battle League as well but digitally for convenience. Already preordered it and Splatoon 3 with NSO vouchers.
Have Seven pirates H preordered. And the SLG version of the Wonder boy collection, Will get Waifu discovered 2, Senran Kagura Neptunia crossover and Star melody. Also want Cotton, Snow bros and Fire emblem warriors.
Personaly I wish Pqube would have choosen to release something more for me than a sequel to Arcades spirits.
Seems like two months where I can play my backlog
I'm really only interested in FE Warriors and Eastward, maybe Pocky and Rocky Reshrined. But that's good, because backlog. Oy, the backlog.
Mario Strikers, FE Warriors, Capcom Fighting Collection. Nothing in May I think
@BenAV I thought AI was coming out later in the summer. So much for my backlog!
Mario Strikers should release two weeks before, May looks dead.
I'm interested in Mario Strikers, FEW: Three Hopes, MHR Sunbreak and the Cuphead DLC. Everything comes in June!
However, July will be the month for me, with Live a Live and Xenoblade 3. Can't wait for those!
Looks like I'll get Pac-man Musuem. I do want to play Pacman Arrangment Arcade ver.
Eastward, Mario Strikers and Three Hopes for me. Not really a fighting game fan otherwise i would have bought capcom fighting collection too I think, since it looks like a nice collection for collectors.
Mario Strikers, Three Hopes and MH Rise Sunbreak are definite day 1 (already preordered the latter on the eshop). May is completely empty though so that month will be focused on backlog.
Fighting Collection is something I'm gonna play for a while but I'll save it for later since I still have Kirby and Pac-Man Museum+ to get to.
Mario Strikers Battle League is 100% day one but Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes I'm 50/50 on
I'll just get me Mario Strikers: Battle League and maybe Pocky and Rocky Reshrined, Pac-Man Museum + and Capcom Fighting Collection if I can find them physically over here in Mexico.
god it’s not great is it! When’s the next direct?
I want pac-man museum eventually but not quite enough to spend 30 dollars on it. There are some ok games but none I am super excited for, so I may focus on backlog/sales.
Although I love Mario and want to want strikers, I've just never enjoyed the Mario sports spin-offs.
Is Capcom fighters not getting a UK hard release?
Three Hopes and Strikers (provided the online is to standard anyways) for me. Then Splatoon 3 and Scarlet later in the year. I'm going to be giving Xenoblade 3ds another go, if I enjoy it I may also treat myself to 3 (judging by this comment I'll be treating myself a lot this year 😅). And of course if Silksong will grace us with its presence I'll be getting that too.... And I'm still yet to buy Kirby ...
Mario Strikers and maybe Capcom fighting collection (if it's any good) for me.
NintendoLife when it's time to pay the bills:
"What're ya buyin''"
Loopers, Lovekami Trilogy, AI: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative, Omori and Senren Banka are the biggest standouts which sadly weren't even listed in this article. Why weren't they? Lol .. The only one listed that I'm interested in is The House of the Dead Remake.
@Tobiaku Also need to check out Loopers, Senren Banka and AI: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative
@JustMonika You are right, will keep an eye on Somnium files, need to know a little bit more before I decide on that one. The other two were not on my mind yesterday when I wrote that comment, had forgotten them at the moment
@Tobiaku Loopers will have a physical version available through PlayAsia. It's from the writer of Higurashi: When they Cry and Key / Visual Arts who did Clannad, Kanon, Little Busters, Planetarian, Angel Beats and all those legendary properties. Here's the synopsis for you..
Tyler is a high school student who is obsessed with geo hunting, a GPS-based treasure hunting game. One day during summer vacation, Tyler and his friends get drawn into a mysterious incident while out treasure-hunting. The real and imagined becoming interconnected. Thoughts are thrown into chaos. Tomorrow becomes today.
Swallowed up by a time vortex, they are trapped in a never-ending time loop, repeating “today” again and again.
Then they meet other “loopers.” Simon, the leader, and the mysterious girl Mia. If they join forces, will they be able to break out from this eternal prison…?
Nothing interesting this month but the Capcom fighting collection.
