Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest adventure in the Pokémon franchise, this time bringing with it a whole new open world, new catching mechanics and more.

While the deep mysteries of Hisui, and which Pokémon you’re going to encounter, are left for you to solve, there are a few Pokémon that you might need a bit of help catching, including this tricky trio.

How to catch Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Returning from generation 5, the legendary trio Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus are catchable in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and we have everything you need to know about the quest.

Landorus

Landorus can be found in the Obsidian Fieldlands during sunny weather. Head to Ramanas park on the map and you’ll see the land-diety floating around. Now, you might notice these Pokémon aren’t like the vast majority of the other encounters in the game. Not only do they run away from you, but they attack you as well. In order to stun Landorus to start the fight you’ll need to dodge attacks and get close enough to hit it with one of your Pokémon.

Once you’ve stunned it, a normal fight starts and you’ll have the chance to catch it. Don’t worry if you knock it out, all you need to do is leave the area and it’ll respawn.

Thundurus

Thundurus can be found in the Cobalt Coastlands next to the large horns in the middle of the sea. Thundurus will only appear during heavy rain. If you have the wrong kind of weather, you can rest at camp until you get the correct conditions.

Tornadus

Head to the Bonechill Wastes in the Alabaster Icelands. Tornadus will only appear during a blizzard, where it will appear in the center of the Bonechill Wastes.

After that, head back to Cogita, she’ll tell you that, to all of our surprise, there’s a fourth Pokémon in this group, which we won’t spoil here, but if you do want to know how to catch it, you can do so here.
