Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest adventure in the Pokémon franchise, this time bringing with it a whole new open world, new catching mechanics and more. While the deep mysteries of Hisui, and which Pokémon you’re going to encounter, are left for you to solve, there are a few Pokémon that you might need a bit of help catching.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is full of regional variations of popular Pokémon from the history of the series, and you’ll need to catch them all in order to complete the final quest. One of the most popular new variations that have been added in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the fire-rock variation of Growlithe.

Where to find Hisuian Growlithe in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

In order to catch Hisuian Growlithe, head to the Cobalt Coastlands and go to the Veilstone Cape. Towards the end of the cliff, you’ll start finding Hisuian Growlithe, and you can also catch an Alpha version.

In order to get the big lad, Hisuian Arcanine, all you need to do is get yourself a firestone, which can be found as a rare spawn in the overworld, as the reward for certain sidequests, or can be purchased in Jubilife Village for MP.

You’ll need to catch both, and all of the other Hisuian forms if you want to complete the final quest. We have guides for all the trickier Pokémon below, or, if you’d rather check out the whole Pokédex, you can find that, too.
