Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest adventure in the Pokémon franchise, this time bringing with it a whole new open world, new catching mechanics and more. While the deep mysteries of Hisui, and which Pokémon you’re going to encounter, are left for you to solve, there are a few Pokémon that you might need a bit of help catching.

The ever-popular Eevee returns, as does its several evolutions. While exactly how they evolve hasn’t changed much, where to get the items you need, and even where you can catch them in their final form, is something you’ll need to know to finish the Pokédex.

How to evolve Eevee and get every Eeveelution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Every single member of the Eevee family tree can be caught in Space-Time distortions. These are random events that appear on the map, during which Pokémon that aren’t usually found in certain areas will spawn. You can check on the overworld map if a Space-Time distortion is currently ongoing. Otherwise, here’s how you evolve Eevee into all of its forms.

Vaporeon

You’ve been doing this for 25 years. Vapoeron needs a water stone, which can be found around the game in the wild, or purchased at the trade post.

Jolteon

It’s like Vaporeon, but electric. Jolteon needs a thunder stone, which can be found around the game in the wild, or purchased at the trade post.

Flareon

It’s like Jolteon, but… oh you get the point. Flareon needs a fire stone, which can be found around the game in the wild, or purchased at the trade post.

Espeon & Umbreon

Both the goth and mystical versions of Eevee are evolved in the same way. You need to level up Eevee with max happiness, doing this during the day gives you Espeon, and at night it’s Umbreon.

Leafeon

Eevee evolves into Leafeon with the leaf stone, funnily enough. In a tribute to the original Sinnoh games, you can also find the Moss Rock in the Obsidian Fieldlands. This helps if you don’t have a Leaf stone handy, or if you only have one and need it for some of the other stone-only evolutions.

Glaceon

Eevee evolves into Glaceon with an ice stone. Like with the Moss Rock, the Icey Rock can be found in the Alabaster Icelands, which makes evolving into Glaceon a simple process if you don’t have the correct stone

Sylveon

Eevee evolves into Sylveon when it knows a fairy move and also has full happiness. The first fairy move Eevee learns via level-up is Baby-Doll eyes at level 15. In order to increase the happiness of a Pokémon, use it to battle, and level it up.
