Target Toss Pro: Bags is a new video game based on beanbag toss, the nation's hottest backyard and tailgate sensation. Bags – or Cornhole, as it's called in some parts of the country – originated in the Midwest in the 1960s and has since become a staple at outdoor social events from coast to coast. Similar to horseshoes, Bags is a deceptively simple yet extremely competitive game where players try to toss beanbags into a hole in a slightly raised platform or "box" for points. Whether at a tailgate party or a summer barbecue, the game has become a social focal point, and the unmistakable thud of bags hitting the box is now a universal party soundtrack.

This is one cornhole you might want to take a closer look at!
Nintendo’s Wii Remote is truly a marvellous thing. With it you can throw a ball, swing a bat, slash with a sword, or shoot a gun. It can even make even bland, boring games more enjoyable. Thank goodness for the Wii Remote, because it makes games like...

Are you kidding me?
With great games out like FFCC, Lost Winds, and Dr. Mario on the way, are they actually expecting people to buy this?

@supermario
There will be lots of games like this. Cheap, simple sports related "shovelware"
Some will rise above the rest...but most will not be worth your digital buck(s)
EDIT: watched the video and it looks kinda cool. though i think its trying to be too "edgy" like burnout3 did with mild language

It's based on a popular arcade game though. Much like vip casino it's appeal is due to those who have several drinking buddies over.

There was an ign interview with the developer that made the game sound promising if you are into sports games. I will pass on it though.

"Shovelware" indeed.
@saillingtheseaoffools: I can see where you're coming from.
But this is a complete waste when you look at much more innovative and replayable, and just fun games that have already been released or are upcoming for WiiWare.

I'd have more fun throwingpillows at my brother, 10 points if you hit him in the head! I would cost less too, minus property damage costs.

I was actually kind of excited for the idea of a Wii Corn Hole game, but after seeing the video (and all the negative reception), I'm gonna pass and stick to real Corn Hole. Even Mr. Nice Guy doesn't have anything nice to say about it!
$25 says it hits the top 5 within it's first week.

I'll Take That Bet,
however if it does make the top 5 or even ten, the developers will see it as an incentive to green light more crap like this. I can see it now " Super Target Toss Pro Bags: Sand Bag Edition "

Not sure why, but this game shows up as a giant red spot on my shovelware radar (in case you didn't realize, giant red dots are something to avoid...)
D'oh!, Gabbo - your post just showed above mine...
MLE got a descent score too, but that did mean it wasn't still shovelware...
I think I'll get off my rump now and go play World-of-Goo...

Gabbo said:
Well, a 6 is a "not bad". That isn't exactly a recommendation. But you can read the review and decide for yourself if it sounds like fun to you.

Anybody that likes Wii Sports will like this game. Controls are very accurate. Easy to pick up and play for anyone. A great game of strategy.
Nothing zany or wacky, just a good solid game that will always remain on my Wii. I feel sure it will be a big hit at family gatherings. $7.00 very well spent.
