Are you getting this game before the NL review is out? Post your impressions here! I'll be getting it as soon as it comes out. I'll leave my thoughts here after I've spent some time with it.

Isn't there a demo so everything should be able to have an impression of it?

That's like saying since there is a demo, NL might as well not bother reviewing it. There are still probably alot of things within the game that aren't shown in the demo that people can give insight on. It seems like a fairly big game.

I tried out the demo and I really enjoyed it. The visuals and music are very nice. The gameplay is fun and addictive. The controls are a little awkward at first and take some getting used to. I got a little frustrated at the part where you have to cross those ramps to get the goldfish but I did end up completing the demo. Towards the end of the demo you gain an ability to "gather" your water together which makes the platforming parts much easier and more manageable. I almost passed on this game because of the price but after playing the demo I downloaded it immediately. I highly recommend trying out the demo.:)

Just watched a video of the first part of it - can't wait to get my hands on the demo when it launches here. Potential purchase indeed.

From playing the demo and the non-demo version. The controls can take a little while to get used
to, especially moving the water over those platforms that WolfRamHeart mentioned. The game is
pretty fun overall from what I have played so far.

Well, I've been playing this for a good hour or two. My initial thoughts are that this is probably one of the biggest Wiiware games in terms of stuff to do. There are a bunch of rainbow drops and puzzle pieces to collect and tons of variety between the challenges the game lays out for you. The controls were a bit awkward for about 30 seconds. After that, they felt very natural indeed and actuallyt work very well. The only ability I've collected so far is the gather ability which as mentioned above, is very helpful. The only problem I've come into so far on this one is that its a little hard to navigate such a large environment in search of things. Even though a map is provided, it still can get a bit frustrating. I can already see signs in the first chapter that there are parts that will have to be returned to once other abilities are found out which is good because it will end up making the game feel les linear. That's another thing, this game feels very non-linear. Basically you're in an expansive area and told to go get a rainbow drop. They don't care which one you get or how you get it. As long as you have the means to get it, go for it. I can tell that when the ice and vapor abilities are gained this game is gonna absolutely open up to a wide range of possibilities. Overall, one of my favorite Wiiware games to date. Definitely worth owning even at the steep price. 9/10

Wow, the demo is great. I started playing while my pasta was cooking, and then I couldn't take myself away to go eat. I think I'll have to buy this game -- after I finish my dinner.

LOL

But anyway, I got it, and am enjoying it as well. It is a nonlinear game (similar to Metroid) with how new areas open up after you either collect more rainbowdrops (or w/e) or get new abilities. But it also feels like Mario 64 with how there's a bunch of little objectives in one big level, and the same goes for all the other levels. Definitely get it if you were at least a little interested in the demo. It's fun, creative, and there's a lot to do in the game.

Check out my classy comics.

Anything that can rip someone away from pasta MUST be good. :D

I sadly haven't had time to download the demo but hopefully I will soon. This game does look quite good!

The nonlinearity of the game surprised me. I've only just finished the fishbowl task, but I'm really enjoying it. The presentation is great too; it adds a lot of personality. I can't wait to get the "gather" ability!

I just tried the demo also. It's a rather neat little game actually. It's got Nice mellow music that fits the theme perfectly. The artwork is beautiful and there's alot of cool abilities to gain. I'd be really shocked if this game got a review score lower than 9/10. This could be the next World of Goo. Don't wait. Get this game ASAP!

The demo was enough to convince me. It's a keeper. Bout time Wiiware got something respectable.
