Topic: Do you have Bit Trip beat?

I've been trying to talk myself into getting it but since it's so short I'm not sure If it's worth it. I like the idea of it being a new twist on Pong and the musical aspect of it is neat but only three levels sounds pretty dull. Maybe Bit trip core will be better.

Yes. And I can't pass from level 2. Frustration but still loving it.

You can't really say it's a short game when the last two levels will take you dozens of attempts to complete, lol. Anyway, it's one of the best games on Wiiware, I found myself enjoying it more and more each time I played it.

Yes. I too havn´t cleared level 2. Did manage to lock up level 3 but can´t get long into that level. This is what I call a hardcore game.

It's short, but as somebody else mentioned, it's going to take you a LOT of time to complete. And honestly, the replay value is enormous. You can aim for a higher score, but once you master the levels (and by the time you beat them, you will have mastered them) it's a really cool experience to just play through the entire game, front to back, spacing out, soaking in the music and the visuals.

It's a brilliant gaming experience, and overall a darn close second to World of Goo, in my book.

I like it lots, but that last song is killing me!

Definitely some of the best points I've EVER spent.

It's the best game on WiiWare. World of Goo can eat its gooey heart out.

Oh what the heck I'll go ahead and get it. It's not very expensive anyway so I have almost nothing to lose. If I like it maybe later I'll buy Bit trip core.

I have it, and I too can't beat the second level. Although, somehow, on my first try I got a highscore on it but haven't been able to since...

i got it awhile back, and i beat the first two songs on my first try on the first day

...but that 3rd song KILLS ME!!!! X(

Get a friend to help on the 3rd song. If you don't know anyone good at this kind of game, try "dual wielding" paddles. It's not only a very fun and different way to play Beat, but it makes some parts easier (though admittedly some parts are harder). I have since beaten the first two levels the normal way, but the first time I beat both of them was using two controllers by myself.

i'll try that sometime, but my sis has tried helping me before to no avail :/

Machu

I experimented by holding the wii-mote like you would a bike handle, to free up the 2nd hand, maybe I should try that with both motes to beat the last level, although my brain might not be too happy about it. Ty adam.

I love that game, it's really fun but I have to say Growth(3rd song) is simply insanely hard, in a good way, of course.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't - or more accurately "hasn't yet" beaten the second chapter. This game is a simple concept executed brilliantly, and worth every point they charge for it.

I've actually tried playing four remotes at once using my feet. Didn't work quite as well but I'm determined to beat level one that way someday.
