@Unca_Lz So you're saying I shouldn't have the opinion that UK GBA games should be priced same as SNES like they're in every other region.
Well, it does depend on your economy. EU was getting physical retail games cheaper than in the U.S., but I didn't hear any complaints. The economy and such determines those prices, which is info we don't have.
I can agree that NES or SNES games could probably be a bit cheaper, but GBA is newer. It's just like how they charged $10 for Earthbound. There was demand, but I don't think that's necessarily what's going on here.

hes right, and my persuasive emails to nintendo arent helping prices go down either.
That's the problem with an email, no matter how persuasive it might be, it lacks the emphasis that a letter written in blood brings
i like the way you think. we can go places together.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.

Oh you can have an opinion. However, the "value" of the games is solely controlled by Nintendo and not any market, so any perceived value is completely pointless
@Unca_Lz Yes I think we're all aware that Nintendo set the pricing but that's not what the op was asking, the op clearly found the pricing structure for the GBA games [bold]in the UK[/bold] to be a bit high, I agreed pointing out that we're the only region paying more for GBA then we did for SNES one counter argument was that GBA games are newer then SNES but if that were the case GBC would cost more than SNES but it doesn't.
The offer thing I found weird was that the US had a two pricing level structure that is non-existent in every other region why is that? I do think some of are just looking at the US pricing as dismissing the op without considering other regions pricing.
@Moorpheel Pound sterling is UK currency not EU and yes his original point was a tad ridiculous but he made a few good points I was just looking at it from a more realistic viewpoint.
Happy with the price. Purchased Advance Wars to give it a go.
Here the GBA are cheaper than SNES, which was a pleasant suprize.
I have saved bundles of cash by not buying certain VC games, E Shop games and retail games that I didn't consider worth the cost. And I haven't complained about it too much. Because I was saving all that money I didn't want to spend on them...
I purchased Advance Wars, Superstar Saga, and Metroid Fusion. I think the prices are fair. I am in US so maybe it is different else where. I don't think it is fair to judge console/handheld prices to smartphone prices. Prices are so low (most tge time free) on phones to bait casuals. It is really ddifficult to make a profit on phones. For every thousand apps made maybe 1 is profitable
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

EU/UK's pricing structure is different. We're not "dismissing" it, because it's not our region. We're dismissing it, because the pricing structure is different, as mentioned.
Also, GBA games are more advanced than GBC(obviously). Even though, GBC games are newer, they're still essentially portable NES games. GBA games are akin to SNES games, and are newer, to boot,
Nintendo isn't BSing people. They do determine they're own prices, as @LZ says, but it is still ultimately based around the economy and currency exchange rates. Like I said in a previous post, Wii U games were cheaper in UK/EU, despite having a stronger currency. No one complained, so it comes off as being entitled when complaints ARE thrown the other way.

Just curious when were UK games cheaper I can't recall that so it had to be a good while ago now.
Edit: Coming from someone who is half American and goes over often.

Around the time W101 and Deus Ex came out. Almost every game was at least $5-10 cheaper in U.S. dollars, as a disc copy.
RRP was £40 (normally £50 but most retailers now under cut that a bit at launch) in the UK at launch only a few places were marginally cheaper around £2 to stay competitive at the time frame you're talking about £40 converted to $62, right now you can get most first party Wii U and 3DS games cheaper in the US obviously this changes but the majority of the time that just how it is I get that but for this specific situation I'm saying that the pricing for the GBA games on the UK e-shop does not follow the clear structure of the rest of the prices I'm only talking about the UK no where else because every other regions pricing makes at least some sense.

Good point. However, my point was that pricing varies by your region, which is probably what's happening here.
