Topic: Child of Light Wii U exclusives?

Does the Child of Light Wii U version have any exclusive content, I see that if you preorder the PS3 version off the PSN you get some kind Golem Pack, is that exclusive to the PS3 or is it just early access content or just DLC that the all versions will get? I was going to get the Wii U version but saw that the PS3 version had extra content as preorder incentive so now I'm sure which version I want to get, the Wii U or PS3 version.

The PS/PC versions do have pre-order bonuses, but they're in the form of an outfit and a few items, not extra content. Sadly, there are no pre-order bonuses for the Wii U version.

But like the poster above me, you really should get the Wii U version anyways, just to show support for the platform.

Just checked Ubi's site and the only versions getting exclusive preorder content are PS3/4 and PC.

So Ubis treating Child of Light Wii U version kinda like WB treated Batman Origins where they removed the DLC. Regrettably I think I'll be getting the PS3 version for the extra content I originally intended on getting the Wii U version.
Aren't the extras for the PS3/4 an extra party member and extra quest?

Yes you get an additional mission and character.

You still should get the Wii U version, regardless.

I hope to eventually snag the deluxe box edition once they start showing up on Amazon; I'll just give the extra game code to my sister, who I'm pretty sure will love the game since she's a huge jRPG fan.

Kinda sad people are essentially saying get the wii u version out of pity basically, still at least its a 3rd party title on the system all the same even if it doesn't come with the extra's, probably end up getting it on steam myself.

Someone on this site said Ubisoft said there were GamePad features, giving you a reason to buy it on Wii U. I am getting it on Wii U just cause I don't really want to play it on my PC

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

to be fair, pre-ordering is almost always a terrible idea, especially since the content is rarely worthwhile and ESPECIALLY where even Nintendo knows regular discounts on eShop are a good idea.

That's a shame but given Ubis track record its expected. I'll be getting the Wii U verson for off screen play and the touch screen stuff. That's dependant on reviews though, all the talk about this game being good to play with kids has me worried this may be too simplistic and boring despite the lush visuals.

Now I remember why I wanted the Wii U version over the PS3 version, I've read can control the second character with the touch screen on the gamepad which makes me think that you might be able to control the first character with the gamepad buttons and second chatacter with the touch screen, so maybe I might get the Wii U version after all.
