Topic: On Rail Shooters?

My Dad just recently got in to playing Wii more. He likes shooters but always gets lost and what not he is far from a gamer but he would like a few more games to play. I thought some on rail shooters might do the trick. Any suggestions?

Look at Dead Space, Resident Evil and House of the Dead.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Does he like war games, zombies, hunting? Does he have access to Wiiware? If he does, there's Wild West Guns and Carnival King.

I wouldn't suggest the Resident Evil Chronicles games for a non-gamer. They can get very difficult.

I really like Link's Crossbow Training. It's not entirely on rails, but I don't think it's easy to get lost in that game.

He actually prefers War games (COD) as for hunting not so much. He does like to watch me play RE and he is a RE fan but the game is just to much for him. Like I said he isn't a gamer so the easier the better.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 has a Campaign, On-rails mode, and Online mode. (No one is online anymore though. There used to be a lot.)

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

It's not a traditional shooter, but the WiiWare game Fast Draw Showdown is casual friendly and pretty fun for a while, especially for Western fans.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

This. I love that thing (even if mine makes a squeaky noise when pulling the trigger that i can't remedy — i may just buy a new one).

House of the Dead Overkill is awesome if he won't mind the constant profanity The whole "70s grindhouse" movie-vibe really makes the game.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.

GHOST Squad. You can beat it in about half an hour since it's only three levels long, but the difficulty ramps up every time you complete a level and they also give you alternate routes as it gets harder. There's a lot of weapons and costumes to unlock, online leader boards, and a four player party mode too. I bought it for $13 and I've replayed it for almost ten hours now. It's awesome but really short, so don't pay too much for it.

...in my pants.

I watched the review for House of the Dead Overkill and I might have to play it my self.

@Gamesake - I remembered people talking about Ghost Squad but could not remember the name lol. I might have to look in to that as well.
