Haven't tried the co-op yet, but yeah, the voice acting is top notch, and the jokes are pretty much hilarious. (A few groaners, but it's worth it for the great stuff that follows.) I'm not sure how keen I'll be to replay everything in order to track down the missing pages of Tobin's Spirit Guide, but I WILL be replaying it to enjoy all the bustin' and cut scenes.
It's not out here in the UK until November. Initally when I saw screenshots I thought it just looked like a 'Wii'd down' version of the PS3/360 game. The cartoony graphics kinda put me off. I've since seen video footage of the game and I've changed my opinion. It actually looks like a lot of fun and the graphics work well, with those charicatures of the original characters. Those character faces alone made me chuckle. Now I've seen it in action, the Wii version of Ghostbusters will be a must purchase in November.
I'm surprised it got an E10+ rating with absolutely no mention of mild language. My favorite part was Janine describing Illysa being kidnapped. "...and the last things I remember were the screams of the dead and the damned echoing in my brain!"
@TwilightV: LOL, the black guy said "Damn!" several times. It surprised me, and my little bro started cracking up. This is a really good game, though. Unfortunately the level I'm at isn't very fun, it's all gooey and weird.
That's good to hear - I've loved GhostBusters since I first saw it in the cinema in 1984. It's my all-time favourite film. I still play the ZX Spectrum version of the game even now, although I don't bother loading it up from tape on my Speccy anymore - I use an emulator on my PC.
