I think it'll launch at $299.99. However, Nintendo will probably make a lot of profit off the accessories.

If they're smart, they won't go over $300. Who knows if it will even sell at that price. At $350, I probably won't get one for a while, and neither will the majority of my friends.
If Nintendo is smart they will price the Wii U higher than the PS3 and Xbox 360 so consumers will at least think they are getting the newest, latest and greatest, more advanced system.
To blessed to be stressed.

I guess that never less than 400€, but if they dare to jump the 40€ to 60€ for games, then I think WiiU will become an even most notorious disaster than the Game Cube.

$250 is a good price for start dropping

The millions of Soccer mom's and gooply grand parents who bought their wii's just for Wii sports will be shook up and thrown off by a high price tag. I'd say the price is going to be inbetween $299 - $349. No more than $399....
And even 'that' seems to high for a NextGen NIntendo console considering they've always been reasonable price wise with every console they've released unlike sony and their PS3 Launch price tag for example. Holy crotch! But at the same time, look at how much the 3DS cost during launch, and that was just a hand held.

Nintendo learned from the 3DS's launch though. Big time.

Indeed. Ever since the price drop and release of Super Mario 3D the 3DS has been doing absolutely Phantom-phenomenal sales wise.

Ya, graphically speaking. Innovation/gameplay wise it's going to be a whole new ball game. But even so visually, seeing Mario jump into the HD world will be far more exciting(for me at least) than any of this Ratchet & clank S**t or LittleBigPlanet and basically every other PS3/XBOX 360 title on the planet.Besides, the Wii U is still going to be more powerful than the PS3, and I'm sure NIntendo is going to wow us regardless.

I'd pay $1000 to get it right now.
