I was just curious if the Zelda fans around here have played all the games in the series as I am currently working through the titles I missed.
Zelda 1- played it on my NES, beat both quests
Zelda 2- played it on my NES, beat it
Link to the Past- Played it and beat it on my friends SNES
Links Awakening- Played it on my gameboy, barely remember it
Oracle of Season/ages- Never played, I was no longer playing gameboy by the time this came out
Ocarina of Time- Beat this on 3DS after playing part way through on VC
Majoras Mask- only just started on VC, never had an N64
Minish Cap- only started, never had a GBA but I have started this several times on my DS lite
WindWaker- never had a Gamecube but started this on Wii, beat it when it came to Wii U in HD
Twilight Princess- played this one together with my son and beat it on Wii, want to go back and play solo
Phantom Hourglass- played and beat on DS at relase, touch screen controls and DS features were great. I was confused by story never having played Wind Waker (who is Tetra?!?!)
Spirit Tracks- beat on release, also good (maybe better) but felt too similar to Phantom Hourglass, touch screen controls were great
Skyward Sword- beat on release, loved the motion controls for the most part
Link Between Worlds- Beat on release, very fun and clever
No one counts CD-i, did I miss any full games? I don't count four swords because I think thats a multiplayer different type of game. I won't count Hyrule Warriors either.
I guess I am probably wondering if there are lots of people who have played every game and how many skipped titles because of touch or motion.
I can easier say the games I have played. OoT 3D, Wind Waker HD, Phantom Hourglas and Spirit Tracks. Reason why? I didn't own the appropraite console for the release and never auite got around to buying TP and SS for wii
Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am
There have only been 2 Zelda games I have not played:
Zelda 2
Four Swords Adventure
A Link Between Worlds
There are a ton I have not completed:
Zelda 1
Zelda 2
Zelda Link's Awakening
Seasons/Ages
Minish Cap
Spirit Tracks
A Link Between Worlds
Four Swords Adventure (The GameCube one, I played and completed the DSi one)
Majora's Mask
Skyward Sword
I've not had any interest in playing the NES games to be honest and apart from that, only Skyward Sword. I'm tempted to buy it to play on the Wii U but I'm also wary at the same time in case it ends up getting brought over/remastered properly within the next couple of years.
She was like a candle in the wind... Unreliable.

I've missed Skyward Sword and um...I think that's it. I really want to Play it but I No longer have a Wii. I'll be missing that awesome looking Zelda U game too.
Oh! And I also missed Four Swords Adventures.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
I skipped all Zeldas before Minish Cap minus Four Swords(Anniversary Edition) Link's Awakening DX(thanks VC) and OoT(OoT3D counts as OoT, right?) by the time I got into Zelda it was already too hard to get the old games(and consoles older than N64 to play them)
it also didn't help that I skipped WiiVC entirely
also Four Swords Adventures I'm not sure if it came before or after Minish Cap
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

Canonically, I missed Four Swords Adventures, and I'll probably never play it. I'm not going to buy several GBAs, the link cables, and the GCN-GBA adapter to play one of the weaker Zelda games.
Unless Nintendo remakes it....

I'm pretty sure you can play single player with just a gamecube controller.

You can, but that's no fun.

Do you like videogames? If so, you must know
It's dangerous to go Alone.
There were two Zeldas released as part of a radio-like system Nintendo had in Japan. They would broadcast chapters of a game and the players had a limited time to beat them.
The two games were a remake of the original and a sequel of alttp
Broadcast system. There were game you could play when the game was broadcasted out through whatever it was, but the broadcasts only lasted one hour and there was no saving. One was Link to the Past, and the other was like a master quest of the same game with added items and such. Now you can only play it through hacks, although I have one friend that did it a few times with the one-hour timer built in. Kind of weird..
