If I wanted I could add that I never played the GC version of Twilight Princess, too.
I've actually played both versions and the GCN version is the most superior overall, although it's 4:3, VS the Wii's 16:9.

Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
I've only really played the first one, a bit of the second (I have vivid memories of playing it at my friends house when I was 6 or 7) beat Link's Awakening, beat Ocarina of Time, got part way though TP on Wii, tried to come back to it months later but got bored, half way though SS but quit due to boredom and wiimote controls, beat ALTTP, beat ALBW, 3/4 through Windwaker HD but got bored and couldn't stand the graphical slowdown while sailing, skipped all the other GBA Zelda's, played a bit of the DS Zelda's but never got too far. Never had any interest in playing MM due to the annoying sounding time based component.
The Legend of Zelda - Great for the NES, love the fact that you can do whatever you want. Adventure of Link - A legitimately badly made game that we only talk about today because its a Zelda game. Link to the Past - Never played (Never owned a SNES, missed out on playing the GBA version). Ocarina of Time - Played the 3DS version. One of the most boring Zelda experiences to me. Well past overrated. Link's Awakening - A pretty amazing GBC title, definitely one of the best. Oracle of Ages/Time - Started playing these on the 3DS VC. Alright, not enjoying as much as Link's Awakening. Minish Cap - One of my favourites of the series. Short yet sweet, with a really fun kinstone sub-quest. Shrinking mechanic was awesome. Twilight Princess - Never played (never owned GCN/Wii). Wind Waker - Never played (never owned GCN, considering getting it on Wii U). A Link Between Worlds - Maybe my new favourite. Fixes to long overdue problems in the series and an amazingly implemented new gameplay mechanic.

I have owned all Zelda's but two, FSA and Seasons
Played all except handheld and CDi.
Completed all console versions except Zelda 2.
Favourite is a tie between Oot and LttP but Ocarina has aged badly whereas LttP still plays pretty well.
My least favourite is a tie between all the others but I still think they're all amazing.
Twilight Princess would be my favourite if they'd just crammed in a few more dungeons, villages and sidequests. Skyward Sword would be my favourite if it had followed a more OoT, TP, LttP route.
I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.
I have played every canon Zelda except for I guess Crossbow Training. I might try to find it just for completionist's sake. Literally the only ones I don't own right now are Four Swords Adventure and Phantom Hourglass.
I just got into the Zelda series, so I haven't played much yet. I only played Minish Cap and part of OoT. Really wanna play some more like Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and ALBW.
I agree with whoever said Ocarina of Time hasn't aged well. I found it rather boring and some of it confounding. I played it on VC up to the fire temple and then completed it on 3DS. I can see how it was ahead of it's time for when it came out when gaming was only barely going 3D and how other 3D zeldas owe much to this game however.
I enjoyed WindWaker but thought some of it was confounding and I didn't quite get why it was so beloved...I think its because the exploration aspect. I initially wasn't feeding fish and I still don't understand how the game expected me to figure out a few things.
Minish Cap I keep getting bored by and haven't finished it but I am putting it on the top of my to do list after beating Circle of the Moon on GBA
Skyward sword is my favorite. This is the best version of the Zelda character that you actually care about, I think it has the best dungeon design, the motion controls are mostly awesome (like 85% awesome and 15% I could do with out) and the best part to me was that the overworld was full of puzzles and challenges. This game has the best combat system since the orginal NES game in my view.
Majoras mask I am trying to start but this one seems like its very different, not sure if I will like it.
I don't think I agree that Zelda 2 is a bad game but I have had little desire to revisit it however. I was pondering whether to use my credit to get this game or Mega Man 3 and I think I am going to go with Megaman 3.
@blaisedinsd If you loved Skyward Sword for its dungeon design, you'll love Majora's Mask.
If you can get over the in game timer, then you'll love Majora's Mask. To this day, I do not understand some people's disdain about the timer. You have plenty of time! It is, by no means, a deal breaker!

What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
I've played all of the console Zeldas except Twilight Princess, but I've only played Link's Awakening as far as handheld titles go. I've never been a fan of handhelds, even though I had the original brick Gameboy.
Zelda 2, cause I didn't buy it when it came out and never remembered to buy it since.
Majora's Mask, cause I just didn't remember to buy it (and wasn't much of a Zelda fan when it came out)
Link's Awakening, cause I didn't own a lot of Zelda games on the original Game Boy, and haven't bought a VC copy yet.
Four Swords Adventures. Just plain didn't interest me.
Various spinoffs.
I've been a Zelda fan since Day One. Some of my earliest gaming memories are playing Zelda 1 with my uncle (or, more accurately, mostly watching him play). Since I stopped gaming in 2003, I missed a lot of Zelda games, and when I returned to gaming, they are the first titles I went back and played. With that being said, I missed out on the DS titles PH & ST. I'll probably play them one day, but for some reason they aren't very appealing to me, and I like to know that there are still some Zelda games I haven't played. I don't want to feel like the series doesn't have anything new to offer me (barring what's on the horizon).
The only other 2 I haven't played are the Four Swords ones, which aren't really Zelda games (or of much interest) to me.
One strange thing about my experience with the Oracle games was that I played Oracle of Ages first and greatly enjoyed it. I really thought it was excellent, and almost as good as Link's Awakening (my favorite portable title, 3rd favorite Zelda game overall). However, I had the exact opposite experience with Oracle of Seasons. Something about it was just so generic. I know it's odd to think so differently of 2 titles that are supposed to be similar, but I got through the 2nd dungeon in Seasons and everything seemed so lazy, out of a "How to make a Zelda game 101" book or something. I can't explain why, just my personal experience.
Other than that, I absolutely love Zelda, and it's my favorite game series of all time, and always has been. My personal rankings go
1 & 2) Ocarina of Time & Link to the Past (alternate all the time)
3) Link's Awakening
4) Wind Waker
5) Legend of Zelda
5 alternates with some of the 3d ones all the time. The only ones set in stone are the Top 4. Link Between Worlds would technically be 5, but I don't really consider it apart from Link to the Past. I don't like the trend of getting away from adventuring/exploring that the series took post-Windwaker to pre-Zelda U. If Skyward Sword had not been a segmented, guided, level-based type of game, it could've easily cracked the Top 5, possibly even up to #1 as lots of things about it were great, but missing that Exploring/Adventuring feeling killed it for me, as that is exactly why I buy the games, and what the series represents to me. For me, Zelda's always been the Top of the Link for adventuring, and Final Fantasy for story.
Four Swords on the GC & GBA as they didn't seem like Zelda games but I'd give them a try now, Minish Cap as I didn't have a GBA at the time and didn't get round to owning it when I did and Zelda 2 as it doesn't sit right with me but since trying it on Nes Remix 2 I'm gonna get it in a sale.
All of them except Ocarina of time, and Wind Waker. Mostly because Zelda just doesn't appeal to me that much. I beat Ocarina, but I only got halfway through Wind Waker on the original gamecube before I quit.
