Awesome news. Finally a game announced for Wii-U. It will make use of the GamePad's touch screen to manage inventory.similar to ZombiU. The game is being released in March

I love ZombiU, I hope this will be just as good. :)

I love the walking dead series and I loved the PSN download title. But since this is from Activision I have my doubts. I mean look at this video. Ok it is early gameplay and I hope it looks 10x better than this come release if not I probably won't be buying it. The War Z graphics look better than this and that is a piece of turd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMnSxy0_tG8

I'm glad that there's a game announced but everything from Activision is trash. Port the Telltale game over and I'll be real happy since I haven't bought it on any other systems.

Wii U gets the crappy Walking Dead game.

architected to take full advantage of the state of the art processors and infinite power of the cloud.

There is a lot of great stuff from Activision. You haven't bought the Telltale game yet? if you did then you would realize it's very disappointing. This is going to be the real Walking Dead game.

WTF are you talking about? The Telltale games are great. Just look at the sales numbers. The top DL on the PSN for the month of December I think it was. Numerous sites have given it the best XBLA game of the year. You want to talk disappoint look no further than the TV series.

Another game of killing my men, your lucky it's not the real deal!

The day when most people get active is the day zombies roam...but there should be a thousand ways to kill them to make life more easy, but if you become one...expect a serious case of the munchies.

@Tasuki - XBLA sales numbers mean nothing to me. I want a real shooter game not a generic point and click/can't make a real video game/excuse of a game. I don't like any of the Telltale games... and the TV series is disappointing? wow, seriously? whatever...

Basing how good something is off of sales doesn't prove anything. The Wii is the number one console so you are saying it's better than Xbox 360 and PS3 right?

They're adventure games, made that way on purpose. But I get it, you're just a drone that buys the yearly Activision gun update, so you would just want a generic zombie shooter.

"Nintendo fans are all talk. Nintendo fans are vocal with their mouths, but when it’s time to open their wallets, they’ll spend that $60 on New Super Mario Bros instead." - Activision

So than if you like those type of games how can you say that the previous poster will be disappointed by the Telltale games? Maybe he prefers point and click to real shooter games, I know I do. Just cause you have an opinion about that doesnt mean everyone shares the same opinion as you.

True, he might like it... It's way too cut-scene to hold my interest. I guess the Activision hate here just got me started.

No, not really. I did buy Call of Duty for Wii U because I haven't bought one in awhile. In my opinion, it's good but too linear. I like more freedom to explore rather than just following someone through the game. Activision makes some excellent games though, Skylanders is a blast.

1. Walking Dead game and generic...oh god where do I begin? Ugh...
2. Same implication that Wii was a bad console because of the many good games that no one bought. That's basically what you mean, so let's not pretend otherwise. Invalid opinion, in other words.

I might look at this if it isn't the click and point on rails game like the TellTale one. I got the Walking Dead on PSN for free from PS+, and I was immediately bored just watching the first scene for 5 minutes and my answers not taking full effect like I wanted them to. I'd say movie people would like this game. Capcom just needs to make another Dead Rising, so we can have a good zomie game again. Dead Rising 1 was better than any zombie game I've ever played by action standards, with 2 being kinda cheap gameplay and storywise, but still pretty good. RE is my next favorite zombie game, but zombies nowadays always seem to happen because of a parasite, which is alot more explanatory which is kinda disappointing.
