REMOVED CHARACTERS: Lucario*he will be replaced with Zaroark*, NOT JIGGLYPUFF only because he/she has been there since the first game, Original Pokemon Trainer make way for the new one, Olimar he will be a costume for The New Captains, Zero Suit Samus either make her a character or drop her, Toon Link he was my favorite Character but hes a clone, maybe if they change his attacks he could stay, SHEIK WHY is she even playable! she only been in one game... OVER TEN YEARS AGO. drop her

CHANGES: re do a lot of peoples attacks especially the clone characters. also i want everybody to be even... if bowser is slow and strong, than a fast character should be equal, soooo they are weaker, this just makes sense. Pikmin is my favorite franchise (second favorite game) I LOVE it, but olimar was terrible, he was slowish, weak, short range... no, make people pretty even. Next i would like a little more skill involved idk how but i would like it. Also make the Subspace Emissary more professional, make it feel like a big part of the game, THIS is why it took Nintendo so long to make the game, less cut and paste.
obviously there would be a lot more stuff but im not Nintendo/Sakurai.

NEW CHARACTERS: (ScribbleNauts) Maxwell, (Chibi-Robo) Chibi-Robo, (Pacman) Pacman (since Namco Bandai is helping make it but NO OTHER NAMCO CHARACTERS), (Paper Mario) Paper Mario (he would not be a clone, he would use his hammer and jumping rather than regular marios fire and punches), (Animal Crossing) Boy/Girl from animal crossing, and finally not Miis. well thats all i have for you guys for now, feel free to say what yalls think

Super Smash Bros has always had a flat terrain, and plus this would get really confusing.

I'm liking the scribblenauts and Animal Crossing idea. But it really should be someone like Tom Nook.

They should make Phoenix Wright a playable character. He could have similar attacks to the ones in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3.

For people who haven't played Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, what attacks does he have in that game and how do they work? How would you change them to fit the Smash Bros series.

His attacks consist of: reading a book, sneezing, shaking, pointing his finger, summoning Maya to slide into people, throwing evidence at people, shouting Hold It! and Objection! at people, and winning a court case.

Hopefully Sakurai will grow a brain and the actual gameplay mechanics are kept more in line with Melee. That would be ideal. Take out floatiness and tripping. Keep Final Smashes but balance them. Maybe make every Final Smash similar to Link's or Kirby's where you have to be adjacent to "catch" them in your final smash. Outrageously overpowered and easy Final Smashes (King Dedede and all the Landmaster characters especially need their FS's retooled).

Smash Bros. Wii U should play like Power Stone. Its the same jump from Brawl that Super Mario 64 was from Super Mario World.

Smash Bros. 3DS can play like Brawl with some more stages / characters.

Two different games - two different ways to play.

The Smash Bros. formula is fine, but I still remember when Sakurai said he would like to do more than just add characters and stages, so I'm sure there will be a few small changes made, but nothing major.

As far as characters, a few would be nice, but more characters would mean more stuff to unlock and I'm largely satisfied with Brawl's roster anyway. What I would really want is better online, which is virtually guaranteed with the Wii U's superior online over the Wii and Miiverse, and a better adventure mode. The Subspace Emissary was cool, but it could've been better, so voice-acting and a better balance between fighting, platforming, and puzzle-solving would make it even better.

What exactly would be added to Smash Bros. if it changed perspectives like this? Part of why Smash is so praised is because it is easy to understand and just hectic enough without being totally confusing. Stuff like items, and the ringouts define Smash. If it were to play like Naruto fighters, it would completely lose its identity. Mario 64 didn't exactly do that. It still felt like a Mario game. Same thing with Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Metroid Prime.

Granted, if it changed to be something like Power Stone it could still retain all of the things that make it what it is.

Yet another Smash Bros thread? Why not just bump an old one? Ah whatever.
To be honest my focus lately has been on characters already in the roster and how they can be changed/improved.

Let's start with Kirby. His Final Smash is terribly lackluster, so why not change it to him using the Ultra Sword like in Kirby's Return to Dreamland? Just imagine how epic it would be if the puffball just whipped out a giant blade and slashed half the freaking area! Also, his copying ability could have an upgrade. Like the Kirby series, he could inhale more then one opponent at a time, and become Mix Kirby. With this he can randomly copy ANY power, even including a character that isn't in the match (assuming that all characters are unlocked of course).

Now for Pit. Not really sure if it would work, but maybe he could switch out one of the nine weapon types from KI: U, each with its own pros and cons, before the match starts, or each of his special attacks constitutes him using a different weapon per move (for example, he down special could be smashing a Club while the side special could be blasting with Orbitars). But then again that might be too complicated. But one thing that has to change is Pit's Final Smash, which is downright terrible. I say he should be granted the use of the Great Sacred Treasure, and fly around shooting like crazy, controlling similarly to Diddy Kong's Final Smash.

Finally, Olimar. Even though as far as we know he won't be playable in Pikmin 3, I still consider him the main representative of the series. The way I see it things can go one of two ways. One is that the new Pikmin types are just added to his ranks, using their respective properties. In fact, the flying Pink Pikmin might replace Olimar's original recovery move, which would likely be a good thing. The other way it could go is if one of the new Captains (likely the one that appears to be Olimar's son) is added to the roster alongside Olimar. And instead of using the original three/five colors, he'll only use the new species that appear in the third game (their might be more then two new types of Pikmin, so we can't rule out having him use only two just yet) while Olimar uses the first five.
