I'm just saying that there's already like 5 or more threads about the new Smash game in several categories in the forums. Wasn't trying to be nasty, only stating a fact. I actually don't mind at all, just pointing something out that's all.

I have these things to say. Pacman, megaman would be great. Also i never played scribblenauts but maxwell would be cool to see. I disagree with replacing the pokemon trainer with a newer model. I think it should be 5 trainers linked to one trainer( for example the color you choose changes your trainer) or leave red the way he is and add team rocket grunts( or Jessie and James( then we could have meowth without replacing anyone) or they could do grunts from any other team)

That would be all sweet, I personally would like some Resident Evil Character and Rayman, but the Developer (Can't remember his name now) has said that he doesn't want to put any non Nintendo characters in the games again. He said it was distracting or something.

Girahim would be really sweet! And out of all the series Metroid defiantly needs another character!

I don't want another story mode like Subspace - it was really bad. The cutscenes were great, but Smash Bros. is a fighting game, not a platformer/adventure game. Just give me more of everything. The gameplay is essentially perfect. I can't really think of any major improvements that need to be made to the series.
Support for more than 4 players at once would be cool. Online battles that actually work would also be nice. Get rid of pratfalling, that was a horrible idea. And try to make all of the characters as balanced as possible, though I realize this is incredibly hard to accomplish. But I really hope they don't go messing with things that don't need to be changed. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's my biggest fear.

If the next Smash has Pac-man, Mega Man, Bomberman, Lloyd Ivring, Shulk and Ghirahim, I'll be very happy Maxwell from Scribblenauts would also be pretty cool. And get rid of all the clones (just give the OoT Ganon a sword, please?)

Also, make the online good, and if if they include an adventure mode, they should NOT focus on it as much as they did in Brawl. Spend that time on character balancing and better online.

The think with adding characters is, they need to have the main character that is obviously apparent from each franchise without over doing it. Just like clones. If they were really gonna add ever character ever, they would add every version of Link to the game, like young Link, Toon Link, wolf Link, Link w/ Ezlo hat but that's not gonna happen. They are going for the MAIN perspective of the character overall... That's why I agree Sheik should be taken away from Zelda's moveset, because she was only in one Zelda game, and is now just tied to the Zelda image which isn't correct in the series as a whole. You might as well replace Zelda's alter ego with the knight version in Spirit Tracks. It's the same idea, and no one wants that. As for 3rd party characters, there should be NONE whatsoever. My reasoning is that, even though it was cool to see Sonic and Snake(I guess), but having them in there seemed much more like a fad. Even having Raiden or Dante in PS Battle Royale is pushing it. If they're gonna have 3rd party characters, they need to have EVERY SINGLE MAIN CHARACTER or characters from the company. I'm gonna pissed if they have Sonic w/o Tails and Knuckles, Snake w/o Raiden, Pacman w/o Ms. Pacman and Blinky(at least one ghost, red or blue), or Megaman w/o Bass and Protoman. I hope that puts my idea across that they need to either have all the main characters from that game, or put none at all. That's aside from the fact that they would never be able to put all the characters from ever single game(especially from 3rd parties). Nintendo hasn't even put all of their own characters in a Smash Bros. game yet, so asking for more 3rd party characters is absurd. In conclusion on the character adding front, if I were Nintendo, I would add everything only Nintendo, and then go to every major 3rd party company w/ iconic characters, and literally say,'Hey, Sega and Konami, have allowed us to use their characters in our Smash Bros. game, and if you don't allow us to use your characters as well(Namco, other 3rd parties), then we have to say no to 3rd party characters as a whole from every company'. Like I said, Nintendo needs to make sure they get everything from their own company, before worrying about if Sonic or any other character that's not theirs in gonna make it in the game.

Here are some more characters i want. Tom nook not the player from animal crossing. They also should have gringiham he was more important the demise. Also i think they need a better story mode with either captions or voice actors. They should also have the story mode based off of the actual places from the games. I think the story should involve fawful causing trouble and maybe combining all the worlds together and team up with every villain to destroy their nemesis's . Who thinks that would be cool?

True. But no matter what a Smash Bros subject thread is originally for, the topic will always change to the character roster and who will be added. For example, I made a SSB thread a while ago pertaining to stages, items, music, basically everything BESIDES the roster, and yet that's still what most people talked about. It's just the way it is.

I just thought of another stage they could have. The airship from Super mario 3d land. They could have any of them as stage. Who agrees?

An airship stage would be a nice idea. You could use the music from the airship levels in Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 3D Land and the New Super Mario Bros series for it, along with the Airship Fortress theme from Mario Kart DS and 7.

Those are all great tracks they should have. Also i just remembered the other stage i thought of. The forest maze from super mario rpg. The theme was good and it is a iconic place for the mario series and super mario rpg.

Wasn't that meant to be in Brawl? It'd definitely be a nice piece of music to have in Smash Bros 4.

snd_bgm_A12_MORINOKINOKO - The name translates to "Forest Mushroom". Most likely Beware the Forest Mushrooms from Super Mario RPG. If this was indeed the case, it would have been cut due to licensing issues.

I find it funny that everyone always seems to want Megaman, remember Nintendo will only put characters that will mesh well with Nintendo's universe, Sonic was an obvious choice for Brawl because Mario and Sonic have been "rivals" for decades now and it was obvious the inclusion was perfect, but with Snake I was like WTF?
But remember, Namco Bandai is co-developing the next Smash Bros with Nintendo and Masahiro Sakurai is also back again for the Wii U and 3DS installments, so why not come up with a list of Namco characters? Here are my inclusions, they have to be characters that have appeared on Nintendo consoles in the past and present:
-Pacman
-Luke Fon Fabre (Tales of the Abyss, 3DS version)
-Klonoa
-Dig Dug
-Mr. Driller

Those are just suggestions at the moment, I'm not a huge Namco fan, but these seem like the best character choices that could possibly make it. Namco Bandai have already stated that Tekken characters may not appear, as they probably wouldn't mesh well in a Smash Bros game (see Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on Wii U for Nintendo cameo oddities). Personally, if it was up to me, the only two characters I would add would be Pacman and Luke Fon Fabre, they are probably my favourite Namco chracters, I know some would complain to have Llyod Irving from Tales of Symphonia, but to be honest he's had plenty of cameos in other games and I think Luke Fon Fabre is probably the best choice for a Tales cameo,

I dunno dude, I think Ridley is just too big. I'm not sure he would work in Smash. Giga Bowser won't be playable either.

I know that Nintendo said they wouldn't put more than 35 characters, but they could remove or change the moves of the "clones" like Ness/Lucas, Mario/Luigi, Capitain Falcon/Ganondorf, Fox/Wolf/Falco.

And I would like to see King.K.Rool in the next Smash Bros.
