@Guitardude Good point. Plus I'll still have money left over so if I don't find a job before this year's end I'll still be able to buy Christmas gifts for my family and not look like a selfish jerk. Not to mention I wouldn't have to worry about spoilers with an XL anyway.
My family doesn't spend much on Christmas gifts though, so I doubt I'd get a $200 XL. Oh well, can't have everything (unless you are a spoiled brat).
On a different note, I REALLY hope there is a Bowser's Road theme in this game.
The media outlets like IGN should be ashamed for reporting you can play Wii-U games on the XBone, the news title is very misleading and is titled that way intentionally.
I'm so excited. Gonna take it to my friends' house over the weekend and play with a bunch of people. They got the Xbox One, too, so I'll get to check that out at the same time.
I pre-ordered this game along with Zelda: Link Between Worlds at Gamestop mainly because my birthday was 2 weeks ago and i got $125 in Gamestop gift cards. I also got a $50 amazon gift card which i used to order the collector's edition guides for both games which are each $23 plus tax.
I also have no work and no class that day so i get the whole day off. Hopefully most of the people buying Xbox One will have come at midnight. As i was told, i have nothing better to do that day, so i won't mind standing in a potentially long line for those 2 games.
I expect a huge input lag. Curious if they have mentioned it?
Because it has to go through 2 things now. Console and TV, and each takes some time to process.
It was consepted for TV only in the first place.
I doubt the lag would be there if they had played entirely on the Wii U, and not Xbox One.
How did they manage to get Mario working on the Xbone then?
Is that something Nintendo should be worried about?
XB1 has an HDMI in port so you could hook your Wii U, PS4, etc into that port and play the game through the XB1.
Doubt its anything Nintendo should be worried about as there appears to be pretty significant lag when doing that.
More to the point they shouldn't be worried about it given the fact that in order to do it a user has to buy a Wii U first. Infact they'd probably be pretty happy with the fact that in the middle of their XBOne coverage they threw Super Mario 3D World in the middle. Free press! Between that and their review of the PS4 showing PS4 -> Vita streaming I'm all of a sudden even more happy with the Wii U (2.4Ghz guys? seriously?)
Just waiting for SteamOS and maybe NVidia Shield so I can get the Wii U experience with all of the grunt of "next-gen" and some.
Hm, I guess since the game is getting released soon I think I'm going to avoid thread now, even though we have spoiler tags now, I still don't trust it. Welp! Goodbye everyone! Have fun in a 3D World!

What do you want to tell me with that?
Of course it wouldn't..
