Topic: SSB Direct and curiosity for E3

With the SSB Direct announcing the SSB release window for Wii U, I'm curious about what E3 will reveal for the Wii U. With such a detailed Direct coverage, I don't think Nintendo intends to spend that much time on SSB during E3?

Nintendo will probably announce 5 or 6 Wii U games at their E3 conference. Just from what they've said, we can expect: Zelda U, NFC Game and Miyamoto's new IP. There have also been trademarks registered for S.T.E.A.M and Pokken. Pokken is most likely a Pokemon X Tekken crossover and S.T.E.A.M a new IP for the eshop. They might still have some other crossovers up their sleeves that have not been tradmarked/hinted at yet. We'll probably also hear something about Shin Megami Tensei X Fire emblem and Yarn Yoshi.

Yeah, seemed like they wanted to get SSBB out of the way a little bit. I don't mind though.

They have lots of stuff in production. Some projects which we know are in development but haven't seen much of, e.g Yarn Yoshi, FExSMT & Zelda U. There should be a lot of info on a lot of WiiU projects this E3.

I think Zelda U is already confirmed to be revealed at e3

A release date for the non-Japanese version of Bayonetta 2 would seem unsurprising to me at E3, since the Japanese version gets a Summer 2014 release.

Nintendo probably wanted to get the bulk of smash news out the way so it wouldn't rake up the hour they ha e for E3. We still have a lot of stuff that will be showed off soon .

Agreed that they're probably getting some Smash news out of the way so they can focus on other games at E3. I think this is what's going to be shown off:

-Zelda U
-More Smash Bros. news (probably some new gameplay modes, at least one of which is Wii U only, maybe some more fighters and stages)
-S.T.E.A.M., which sounds like Miyamoto's new IP
-Maybe a Pokemon spinoff (I don't think a new main series title is coming this year).
-At least 1 or 2 more Wii U announcements and maybe a handful of 3DS announcements (I think it's going to be a slow year for the 3DS).
-More details on all of those announced games we know next to nothing about (Bayonetta 2, X, Hyrule Warriors, Yarn Yoshi, SMT X FE, Sonic Boom)

I expecct some SSB4 news, not a lot tho. Maybe they could reveal a newcomer that shocks everyone. Zelda U I think was confirmed for E3 2014. I want Hyrule Warrors and X mostly. New VC system pls too.
