Topic: Sim City on Wii U

I think EA should bring Sim City to Wii U. Features could include off TV play, Miiverse support, exclusive Nintendo themed buildings, and most importantly offline play. I think Gamepad would work very well with a game like Sim City

After all that's happened with the PC version, I think it's best left alone (or just not online only).

If they did as good an effort as Need For Speed U and included offline mode then I'd be down with that!
Also include the cameos and such from the SNES Sim City like Bowser and Dr. Wright exclusively for Wii U version.

SimCity should get it's own specific Wii U version. Just like The Sims.

And definitely not online only.

I haven't played a SimCity since the SNES version. Haven't felt the need to.

Well since Sim City has been removed from the VC I think its safe to say that the chances of Sim City coming to the Wii U are slim.

I still have the SNES cart, but I'm still glad I managed to grab it off the VC before it got removed. It's too bad it most likely will not be available to upgrade to the Wii U though

Can anyone test this?

Sim City on the Wii U would be something I'm interested in, but only if they scrap the entire online-only features, and I know for sure that's not going to happen, because its freaking EA...

I don't think anyone wants to deal with this on their Wii U (warning: naughty language).

A lot of the sims launch problems have been solved with timely updates. I love sim city, but it has been years since I played it on PC. EA has been very clear there will be no offline version though, unless they get enough ridiculous amounts of complaints to change there mind. That aspect aside, I see no way this would come to wii u. I can't imagine playing it with the little "joysticks" as opposed to a mouse. I can't imagine playing any RTS game on anything except a pc. I'm forever a diehard pc gamer, but I also love the wii u. Some games are just better suited to a mouse.

Test what? If they had to remove the game on the Wii Virtual Console, one could assume it will not be available for download on the Wii U Virtual Console. You can still transfer it into Wii Mode though, if that's what you are talking about testing.

Yes, I want a limited, poorly developed only online city simulator on my Wii U.

Let me tell you.

Just for you.
