I've seen rumors at various sites stating the controller will be $59.99-$69.99 I hope these are accurate, but it seems way too low considering the technology used in the wiiu controller.....
How much do you think it'll cost? My guess is $119.99
$59.99-$69.99 sounds fairly reasonable, most of the tech in the WiiU is something that they used before (motion controls, same type of touchscreen as the DS, etc.)
If anything, I doubt that the separate controllers would cost more than $70.

Nintendo has stated you only need one controller, as games only support one at a time.
That's why I think it's possible that they will likely be more expensive since only one is needed, there is no need to sell it at a loss or at the very least break even........
Probably the most any game will be programmed for is 2 of them so even if the extra one is fairly pricey, it will likely be something you only have to buy once. I highly doubt anyone would need 4.

Having the screen inclusive, I am predicting about $140 Aus. The PS3 controller is like $85 or something here so I think its worth significantly more than that!

I think it will be about $100. It is a pretty sophisticated controller and including the neat features and screen, I would imagine that it would be more than the typical $50-$60 controller for the PS3 or 360.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

Actually, games will have the capability to support two at a time after the Wii U launches - none of the launch titles made use of the feature yet.
So, even if it turns out higher than expected, you'll only need to buy one more anyway. After that, it's just Wiimotes and Pro Controllers all the way, the former of which should definitely see itself a slash in price soon.
As for the price of an extra GamePad, it shouldn't be too expensive as it's really just a vast composition of tech that's been around for a while, nothing too fancy; I'll place my bet around £40-50. That's about $60 tops, I believe.

No current game controller for a home console has a touch screen. That might jack up the price another $10-$20 minimum.
