I wouldn't say no to more RPGs, however they take a long time to make and with how "difficult" people say it is to port to the Wii U, you might be waiting until the Next Console for most of them. But one can hope, I still want a Pokemon RPG on Wii U.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Also note that he says they want to "make" more RPGs for the Wii U, not "get" more. So even if they really are working on having more RPGs on the Wii U (they're not), 3rd party ports are probably still not on the table.
Only way I could see otherwise is if Retro's current project was an RPG. All of their other studios are either currently working on something else or just released something, and won't have something else ready for 2-3 years (NX time).
Wii U needs more exploration games in general. The lack of collectathon platformers, Metroid, and currently Zelda is very palpable, and the only two exploration based games coming are Xenoblade and Zelda.

And Assassin's Creed III and IV, Watch_Dogs, Arkham City, Arkham Origins, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Darksiders II, Mass Effect 3, etc, etc, etc, but yeah.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
Exploration is my favorite thing to do in video gaming. So yeah, give me more RPGs, open world action-adventures, collect-a-thons, and I'll be happy. Hell, give me my Lego City Undercover sequel and I'll be all giddy. Like most people here, however, I have a hard time imagining there will be many of those games coming to Wii U still.
