Yes the Wii U is my only home console and my primary gaming device. My 3DS and PC are tied for my secondary with my android phone in a distant last place.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I worked at a major retailer over last Christmas and I lost count of how many people thought the uDraw for the Wii was the "new Wii gamepad", at first it was funny but after a while I started wondering if any of these people had bothered to do ANY sort of research before shopping for a Wii U. On the bright side I did get to play a lot of New Super Mario Bros U on the store demo unit which is what got me hooked.

Absolutely no plans to buy a PS4 or XBox One. They cost too much for what I would get from them.
Wii U is my only current gen console - but we do have a couple of Wii consoles at home too. Backwards compatibility provides a huge value for us, because we've got large backlog of Wii games waiting to be played. Missing out on the latest third party games hurts, but Nintendo first-party exclusives make up for that.
Let's see, i have:
NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, WiiU, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS
Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive
Xbox360
PSOne, PS2, PS3
and doubles/triplets of many of those will be getting a PS4 when it drops in price, need to get me some of those PS exclusives i enjoy
Got 45 NES, 22 SNES, 53 N64, 195 GC, 50 Wii and 12 Wii U PAL games
only PC +3DS+N64+GBC and hopefully soon PS4 or WiiU(I always think I'm sure but then I change my mind and since I don't have money for either I just keep thinking about which one to get when I do)
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

The only consoles of this gen that i currently have is the Wii U and the 3DS. I have a PS3, that I use occasionally for Mortal Kombat or Tekken though.
I'll probably get a PS4 some time in the future.. In like 4 years, when it's cheap enough that I see it worthwhile. And then probably just for Tekken/MK, and the odd exclusive that I find interesting (probably a jrpg of some sort, like tales of or a Ni No Kuni sequel).
Anything that is available for it, I'll just play on PC instead. And since the PS4 and xbone uses x86 architecture, I'm hopeful that there will be less console-only multiplats this gen.
Next to WiiU are SNES, Wii, PS2, DS, 3DS and PSP, though the WiiU is the last console I've bought. I have no intention on getting any other consoles in my life by now - those I own suffice well enough, and they offer me the best games available.
Ps4 WiiU and 3DS for me. Mainly got the ps4 for sports titles. I traded in my 360 and a few games when game stop was giving 50% more credit if you put it towards an 8th gen console so I got a ps4. Probably wouldn't have paid full price for it though.
Hmm, let's see... What have I got? Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Amiga 500, 2 x Amiga 1200, 2 x Gameboy, SNES, 2 x DS Lite, 2 x 3DS, 2 x 3DS XL, Nintendo 64, Game Cube, Wii, Wii U, PS1, 2 x PS2, PS3 and 2 x fat PSPs. Oh, and a decent / ok gaming PC. Will get a PS4 in a year or so when there's more than 1 game worth owning (inFAMOUS: Second Son). And possibly a Vita, haven't seen anything I want on it yet though.
