Topic: Huge Miiverse Update Incoming...

Um...when is the update gonna happen?

Seems a bit over complicated to use now.

The 30-a-day post limit seems like a hindrance. I have never reached 30 posts in a day, but I know I probably could if I was in a fun discussion.

Other than that, the new Miiverse seems awesome.

Too bad I'm console banned from Miiverse. I'll never get the chance to try the new Miiverse update now.

I believe the 30 post limit is from PCs, phones, etc. If you post while you're ingame it won't count to the limit.

The post limit is global and aparently includes WiiU private messages.

@Morpheel I just tested it and private messages didn't affect my post limit.

And ya as Shaneoh said, in-game posts (ones that post automatically like Hyrule Warriors challenges) don't count towards your limit.

Oh well then, just mentioned it since someone said they did before in this thread.

Edit: also, it would be unfair if the automatic ones did count, but I don't think normal posts made from within a game or app are not counted.

I've been trying to use it for the past few weeks and I do like it for the most part. The 30 posts a day limit is an annoyance, but I haven't come close to it. It has been handy to write down a quick summary of what I was doing when finishing up a session of games (especially MH3U). I tend to hop around a lot and can forget what I was working on, especially in RPGs. It also seems to want to connect me with players that have similar interests which is nice (if you are wanting that).

After using it for awhile, I like the update quite a bit overall, I like the photo album since I can save pictures for use any time if I don't want to use it right away. I think my only complaint is the comment limit since on popular user's posts, they reach 100 comments quickly. I don't post a whole lot and at most usually only post/comment around 10 times a day, but I could see other people using it up a lot faster than me.
