I definitely think Rogue Squadron would be awesome... especially on the Wii U. Also I think the Call of Duty series should be revisited, 'cause it definitely hasn't had enough games recently! (Sarcasm)

I would like to see: Earthworm Jim A third person shooter in regards to earthworm jim, Just imagine thought innovation 16 bit levels changed into modern day graphics. This could work out well and i think he could fill an iconic void that was left behind with the wii. Game comparison: Ratchet and Clank, but minus the puzzles and up the mayhem
Contra A first person shooter would be nice, the only thing i believed the wii missed out on was shooting games. The Wii u Should look out to reach all styles of gamers and not just the casual to hardcore nintendo fans, and contra could help that. It could include huge explosions, giant boss battles and that old theme music that we all love. Game Comparison: Bulltetstorm
Castlevania I would love to see Castlevania reboot, i do not know whiter i would want it 3d or 2d. The castlevania series was classic and drugged me into buying every game it released. Hardcore fan and would love to see something happen, but if the were to take the 3d path i would like to see an expansive open world concept with a great and fluid gameplay system 3d game comparison: Fallout or oblivion
And last but not least Mega man I want a megaman adventure game, I understand the last game sold poorly and this will probably not happen but as a kid i enjoyed beating all of the bosses in megaman and gaining their abilities. They were great games that i still play from time to time, but i did not enjoy megaman powered up as much as the others. They need to return to their roots, bringing back that iconic series to the stature it once was Game comparison: Need not for one, keep the good ol megaman we all love.
I can't say there' s a lot of console games I'd like to see resurrected, though another Sakura Wars game would be nice; in fact I think I should score myself another copy of So Long My Love for the Wii.
I think the main game I'd like to see brought back from the dead is X-COM/UFO Enemy Unknown. Something that has the turn-based aspect of the original combined with the depth of gameplay and interesting storyline. I never played F-Zero, but I did own both Wipeout games on the Playstation, so anything along those lines would be welcome.
Otherwise a Virtual Arcade shop featuring games from Japan and America would do nicely.

Awesome, now it just needs to come to Wii-U (I can imagine the pad would be excellent for use of PSI or other surveillance technologies or for a local two-player mode with one person controlling the aliens) or Mac/iOS!

This thread gives me another opportunity to say 'Chakan The Forever Man' needs to rise from the dead. Also Shadowgate exactly how it used to be with a new coat of paint. Mario 2 done in 3D Land style. Eternal Darkness 2 (the one hinted at in the sanity effect). Last but not least every game these days has CGI cutscenes how about bringing back cheesy FMV from PC/SegaCD/Saturn/PSX era they always added humour to a seriously toned piece of software
