November 18 Midnight Store Openings
Share the excitement with other fans at one of the many stores that will open at 12:01 a.m. to sell Wii U consoles and select games as soon as they're available. Plus, the first 50 people in line will receive Wii U cinch sacks.

Find out if there's a midnight opening at a store near you.

Sadly my in store pickup location is not on the list. But one could assume that Best Buy is getting at least 50 Wii U's per store that is having midnight launch, right? To those that missed out on the preorder you could visit a midnight launch Best Buy and try your luck!

No. No it isn't. I waited in line with about 50 people at Gamestop when Borderlands 2 came out. I had preordered it and was mainly just going for the "experience" since I had never been to a midnight release for a game. I suspect at least half of the people had never heard of deoderant. The other half were wearing pajamas and other things that I couldn't identify.

Best But seems to think that is the pre-order bonus everyone can't seem to live without. If I'm not mistaken they did the same thing with Skylanders Giants.
