Do you think Disney will release classic LucasArts games on the Wii U Virtual Console? LucasArts may be gone but Disney still owns those games. Games such as the Super Star Wars series or Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

What I'd like to see is The Curse of Monkey Island rereleased on something I could play it on, because all of my computers are now too modern for it so I can't play it anymore.

@shaneoh yeah thanks so much! I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like I should finally be able to get my old Curse of Monkey Island game to run on my windows 7 laptop!
@shaneoh: OK I just got it working, hooray! I can play the game on my laptop now! I don't even have to install it; it plays right off the disc! ...I read it has some trouble with games that use two discs (like the Curse of Monkey Island), but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it! You've just made my day (or even maybe my whole week), yay!

If they had any brains, they would already have the Monkey Island series, Maniac Mansion, Loom, Indiana Jones, Full Throttle, and the other adventure games using the Wii U's game pad.
You can download 6 Lucas Arts games in Wii VC. They are licenses so it is very difficult to see them in Wii U directly.
I'm having a hard time understanding you here. Are you saying it would be hard to get them on the Wii U eShop because of the licensing? If so, then you say that 6 Lucas Arts games are on the Wii VC. If there were licensing issues, then those games would have been removed.
Only Maniac Mansion and Loom were released on consoles supported by the VC (well, Wii VC. Loom was on TurboGrafx but Konami owns the console's legal rights now). But LucasArts didn't develop the ports.
(I'm guessing by "Indiana Jones" you mean the PC text adventure games?).
They could of course remake the games if they wanted.
Sorry my english, i´m mexican. I mean i see hard to see Lucas Arts games in Wii U VC. They appeared in Wii VC, yes, but not all companies got back their games to Wii U. And I think this games never will be on Wii U VC, same for Disney games that never appeared in Wii VC in first.
Maybe another companies never come back to Wii U, like Ubisoft with its only VC release: SNES Prince of Persia.
Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.
