Topic: Anyone here get bricked

Hey guys-- first of all — sorry for lack of punctuation here — current keyboard is broken

Anyways-- I'm a journalism student looking to do a story for my class website — just wandering if anyone here got bricked from the update that would talk to me

Also — to make this a forum topic-- just throwing that question out to discuss too

No, we dont cut the power while updating anything, let alone a new console. Non-story, don't believe the hype

No, I didn't start the update only to cancel it before it was finished.

You should ask this about anyone who ever has a console bricked.

This isn't unique to the Wii U you know.

No bricking but it froze on me twice playing NL

bricked out of the box, hardware failure, didn't get a chance to update

Wii was bricked, if that helps. I foolishly attempted to do something. Fixed it quick though, so it wasn't major.

I hope when I get mine it doesn't get bricked!

It should be at Nintendo right now with a new one on its way to my house. Free of charge and the girl I talked to was very genuine and nice. Any mistake on their part I have had has been dealt with very quick and with no charge to me, which was only this and the Wii dual layer dvd problem

No. I wrote a story on the computer during the update. Just be patient for crying out loud!
