Topic: Activision's hint of Black Ops 2 coming to Wii U?

Check out the link below... http://community.callofduty.com/community/call_of_duty/englis... First off, this is an official forum. Second... if they do not have the game in the works for the Wii/Wii U why even bother to put up a forum page? The question is... Will it actually be for the "Wii" or the "Wii U"? I personally do not see them sinking resources into watering down Black Ops 2 for the Wii when they can just code it for the Wii U... The Wii U will be a hot topic at E3, and I believe they will announce it for the Wii U at E3... Another strange thing I noticed... And this is just a personal thought... But check out the Black Ops 2 pre-order page for Gamestop... http://www.gamestop.com/collection/call-of-duty-black-ops-2 Maybe it is just me being kind of paranoid, but the Gamestop page for Black Ops 2 pre-orders has me scratching my head... I am a web designer by trade, and its a sin to leave such a blank white space after the PC version for Black Ops 2... It almost looks like they are waiting to add another box art... Could the Wii U box be going there after E3? Thoughts anybody?

I'm sure the watered down versions still made a lot of money on the Wii. I don't see why they wouldn't continue on a system they could port it to (possibly) more easily.

The Wii U will be a hot topic at E3, and I believe they will announce it for the Wii U at E3... Compare install bases between the Wii and the Wii U. There you go. That's why I think they'll develop it for the Wii, especially since the Wii U is backwards compatible. See, Call of Duty, being a massive game franchise, has rather high sales expectations. Can't be releasing a game on the Wii U when it will need to sell five copies to every single people with a Wii U or the shareholders will spit the dummy.

ReleaseTheBears	14. Posted: Fri 4th May 2012 04:12 BST I'd be cool with this. I have never been interested in a CoD game ever, but what I've seen of BLOPS2 looks pretty cool. Though I've been told by some gamer friends that they're ripping off Ghost Recon, so maybe I should be checking that out instead.
