i figured if it hadn't shown up after 10 replies in this thread, it was fair game.

What's up?

There's an update on the EU version of Super Mario World.
I downloaded it, and I can't notice a difference.
The disco-light effect in the final BACK DOOR level still is glitchy.

I emailed Nintendo why Family&Friends Party has been removed.

"Mario always goes first." Now that's classy. I'll have to remember that one.

I'm not clicking that link. The animation, however, doesn't disturb me very much. (Maybe it's because they're wearing clothes.)

@SKTTR: Any idea why you're the only one who gets this update? Maybe you're the only one who had the game on your Wii? In case some people didn't know, you won't get update notifications if the game is on your SD card.

As for the removed game, that IS disturbing. Sure, it was widely considered crap (I haven't tried it, and I don't intend to), but that's no excuse to cut it with no warning whatsoever!

And I am among those who are NOT clicking that link, period. Not gonna change my mind like MetalMario. Nope, I'm not. Even though I feel like I'm setting myself up for that old comedy trick where we cut to me doing it anyway.

If you ask me,. I think the removal of Family Party is only temporary, like Super Mario Bros. 2 Japan did.

Nintendo does it again.... updates/fixes it´s games. Maybe they could let Gaijin do it too.

Y'know, I had no idea there were any problems with Super Mario World on VC until this thread came up. But I haven't exactly been paying attention to it since I'm perfectly happy with Super Mario Advance 2.

I can confirm there is no update on the UK shop channel , it may have been funny if it was posted on April fools day !!!
