Topic: Anyone here buy F-Zero X?

I bought it recently and I'm loving it. It's really fast-paced and chaotic, a lot more so than other racers I've played (namely Mario Kart.)

I'm going through Standard difficulty right now, I wasn't having much luck until I started using the Wild Goose. Now I'm blowing through them like they're nothing! What about you guys?

Loved it back in the day and still quite enjoy it although I haven't touched it for a while now. I also quite like F-Zero GX for its graphics and presentation but the difficulty kills me. F-Zero X is fairer in comparison.

I just wish falling off course in the F-Zero games didn't result in instant death.

I still have it for my N64, absolutley brilliant game. A re-release would be nice with online play, but will never happen. Missed opportunities in my opinion. Good purchase though

I'm a big F-Zero fan, own every game released so far (expect BS F-Zero 2 obviously) and the 64 release was the only one I was missing. So of course, the first thing I did when I bought the Wii was downloading that game. Personally, I'm still biased towards the original F-Zero style but it's enjoyable enough.

Love it, have bought it twice now (64/VC) and unlocked the X-cup both times. Trying to complete the X-cup on Master difficulty is one of the hardest things I've attempted in games. I though the multiplayer worked better in X, and the death race was sorely missed in GX. It's good with vodka too.

I have F- Zero X, but idk how to unlock the other racers

I never played GX before myself but yes I have this. It's rather enjoyable although I haven't played it in a while. It's a pretty unique racing game.

Just keep racing, earn X's for each cup with each car, the more x's you get should start unlocking the other cars, i think. It's been a while.

I had downloaded it, and I think it is an awesome game.

I've bought it too, and I really like it.

The funny thing is, (in the N64 days) I used to hate it.

There's a cheat code too.

Ive F-Zero X The best game ive played.i unlocked every single racer and track but im trying my best to beat master grand prix it is really hard to beat trust me.The machine i use is Hyper Speeder and my favourite course is Big Blue (on Jack cup)

I guess I'll pick it up along with Super Metroid next WPC I get.

X was a great game for its time, but there isn't a single thing except maybe the Deathrace mode (which has an approximation in F-Zero GX's story mode anyway) that wasn't improved upon substantially in GX. It will probably never be dethroned as my favorite racing game of all time. Especially since it was between $4.99 and $9.99 for GC for years after its release.

GX's 6th, 7th, and 8th story mode races on Very Hard put the X Cup to shame imo. Still never beaten Deathborn on V.Hard, despite getting insanely close a few times (lap 5 is ridiculous)

F-Zero -X kicks ASS! I used White Cat to unlock stuff, because grip is the most important factor in the game. As long as you drive fairly well, you can always boost past your opponents if you have energy left anyway. Adjusting the max-speed of any veicle helped me too

@Swerd_Murd: Don´t forget F-Zero X excellent X-cup! Ain´t nothing like racing random levels with a friend! Those rock tunes in "X" give it an upper hand as well...

You're in for a treat, That Guy From Faxanadu. GX is well worth the <$10.
