Seriously though, brick and mortar stores that know anything about retro games are too expensive. I will occasionally check a second hand store but hardly have any luck (I am really particular about games) along with yard sales and flea markets. Ebay works the best for me.
Agreed on the brick and mortar thing. That flea market guy I was talking about was charging 85 bucks upfront for a copy of Chrono Trigger for snes. He really thinks a flea market shopper is just gonna pay that with no bartering? Bs.

There's a local store here called Game X Change that specializes in retro games, but the place smells, bad (got a lot of stuff here as a kid, though. Metroid Fusion, Kirby: Knightmare in Dreamland, Pokemon Red & Blue, ect. The last purchase I made there was a couple years ago, and it was Scribblenauts).
I'll check out thrift stores like Goodwill & DAV, but they never have anything good (actually, DAV actually has a copy of MGS2 right now for $5, but I don't have a PS2).
Pawn shops can be good as well.
The occasional yard sale (This is how I got Super Smash Bros & Ace Combat 4).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Almost picked up Earthbound for $70 there too. If I wasn't short $20 I would have snagged that thing and sold it for whatever exorbitant price it goes for now.

Like some sort of thick BO (it's the main reason I rarely go there).

If only the closest Play N' Trade wasn't 2 hrs away... I've actually thought about opening one of those up in my town using their franchise program. Still thinking about it too. Hmmmm...

You should have asked them to put that on hold. Thats at the top of my treasure hunting list. I refuse to buy it unless I find it at an insane deal, so its kind of a difficult goal. But its EXCITING!

eBay, flea markets and Amazon. Though I just found this game store that pretty much carries everything from Atari to Xbox 360's. They even had some rare stuff like Earthbound ( They told me it sold quickly, wasn't looking to buy it though), a Virtual Boy and a model 2 SNES ( which I bought along with Goof Troop, a lesser known Disney Capcom game. If you enjoy top down Zelda games like LTTP you'll like it).

That's amazing. The Play N Trade by my how has some great games, but nothing like that. I would have gotten that on the spot, or at least see if they could hold it with a deposit or something. Last time I bought something from them it was a non working copy of Zero Mission. I've been mad about that so I haven't gone back in a while. I should see if they have anything new. Did get Castlevania for free from them.
