I cant remember if it were Donkey Kong from 94 on the Gameboy, Megaman 2 on the Gameboy or Pokemon Silver for gameboy. I was born in '97. But experienced games for the first time when i was at least 8 or 9.
I got a gameboy containing Tetris, SML3 Wario Land (can't remember specific name), Pochanatas, Jungke Book, and TMNT2 back to the sewers. Because of this, I had no clue who Mario was for years, I always thought everyone meant Wario! (but I was only 7)

The first game I ever played was Pac-Man in 1981, when I was 6 years old, on an arcade cabinet at a local supermarket. But the first game I ever owned was 'Buck Rogers' for the Texas Instruments TI 99/4A home computer. Games were so simple back then.
My first game that I owned was Pokemon Crystal, which came with my good old light-blue GBA, so long ago. The first one I played, though, was probably TIE Fighter, an old floppy disc game my dad had way back when I was little. That and Ghost Recon were really the only games I remember before that.
Also, I was born in 1996. So I guess I have my beginnings on retro gaming, even if I wasn't introduced to gaming until the end of it.
Nintendo - Where even first person shooters ooze creativity.
'Spider Man and the X Men: Arcades Revenge' for the Game Boy. I was playing it on the GBC though - my first system. :3 This game amazed me completely at the time, having never played any game before.
The first electronic game I remember owning was a Mattel Electronics Football II. It was green plastic and had a display with red LEDs on it. I played the heck out of that thing.
I didn't have a games console until my sister and I got an Atari 2600 in 1982 shortly before the crash. This was a version that included both Combat and Pac-Man. I recall being incredibly disappointed with how unlike the arcade Pac-Man was.
Let's see, I was born in 1988 and the first game I definitely remember playing was Super Mario Bros., sometime in '92 or '93. My dad brought home an NES and a box full of what turned out to be great games for it one day, and I was mesmerized almost as soon as I saw him blow into the first cartridge. I remember it took me forever to stop looking at the controller and give my full attention to the screen.
The first games that were actually "mine" were Tetris 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game and Metroid, the first game I ever beat was Super Mario Bros. 3., and my first console was a Sega Genesis.
I don't remember what the first game I actually played myself was, but the first game I've ever seen being played was Super Mario Bros 3, and then the second I've seen was the original Super Mario Bros. The six games we had on the original NES were SMB1, SMB3, Excitebike, Pac-Man, Q*Bert, and Magmax. I was wondering what and where SMB2 was for the longest time. I found out through Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES when my brother decided to borrow my friend's SNES when I was 11.

I don't remember what the first game I ever played was, but the first game I ever got that was my own was Zelda 2 for the NES. My brother and I both got to pick out one game, and I liked the gold cartridge. I don't think I had even played the original yet. I know it's the black sheep of the Zelda family, but Zelda 2 will always hold a special place in my heart.

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
First I had owned myself was Donkey Kong 64, I wonder what console, 1996 I had originally been playing heaps of games before but this is the first i remember getting (was and is still one of my favourite games)
