Info on permission on publishing the game found: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=402754 Ed Fries programmed Halo 2600. He was given permission by Microsoft to create a Halo Game for the Atari 2600.
There will not be any more Halo 2600 Cartridges being made after all the current cartridges Halo 2600 are sold out due to an agreement that Atariage has with Microsoft.
