The stage is Katina, the dog is Bill, the level is one of the harder ones to get a medal on, I'm done.
Yup, it was. Trying to get the full hit count took me quite some time.... good times... good times.

Has to be... Outrun. The original 8-bit computer versions came with an audio tape of the arcade soundtrack, shame the actual ports of the game sucked (C64 about the best...)

Golbez's Theme from Final Fantasy IV is pretty killer. So is the music to the fight against Mother Brain in Super Metroid.

For me, I think it would be Final Fantasy battle and boss music.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I just remembered 'Blue Marys theme' at the end of King of Fighters '97 on the Saturn:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA7NkmbvV_EIts pretty cool music, extended animated sequence is a wee bit risque in that SNK way...

@Bleachfan888: A midi version of it plays at the end of Sonic 2. Sonic and Sonic 2's music was written by a band called Dreams Come True.
35. Posted: Tue 11th Aug 2009 18:36 BST
@Outrunner: Yeah, I've heard that...great stuff! I just didn't know there were actually lyrics for it! Dreams Come True...I'll have to keep that in mind!

Outrunner, that Sonic music takes me back - beating robot Sonic and giant walking Robotnik with no rings was pretty stressful... I was lucky to get Sonic 2 a few days after release - great game, great music - Hidden Palace too, the mystery on the sound test!

Only in Vids, I've still got my original cart and a Megadrive (right next to the Wii!) - I think there was a way of accessing elements of Hidden Palace using action reply too... Either way, this was pre-Internet for most kids so the music in the sound test was a proper mystery at the time... Ahh, those were the days!
