I've seen people make this mistake. But people seem to think that Shuhei Yoshida is currently president of Sony Computer Entertainment. He's not, he's only in charge of SCE Worldwide Studios. Which means, he's only in charge of Sony's 1st party development. Andrew House is the real CEO of SCE, and even then, he's not calling every shot, since Kaz Hirai is president of Sony as a whole.
There are far more people who don't even know who Shuhei Yoshida is, compared to those who think he's in charge of Sony Computer Entertainment. And for those who do know who Shuhei Yoshida is, there are far more people who know Kaz Hirai is in charge than those who think Shuhei Yoshida is.
I forgot Kaz Hirai is the president of Sony.
Like many, I only remember FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS.
And didn't he end up the only person able to play RIIIIIDGE RACERRRRR on his PSP?
Since Yoshida is much more often turning towards (or against) the public than Hirai, people probably just assume he's the prez. I kinda forgot about Hirai myself, but I don't really care, either way.
Seriously though op you write all that but haven't actually specified who these people are, but for now let's keep these kinds of thoughts to one of the other active PlayStation threads.
