Haha, you bought the PSP games before the system? How did you justify that purchase?
The same way I justified buying 10 PS1 games, purposefully skipping the PS1 and buying a PS2, and the same way I bought 20+ DS games before receiving a DS Lite as a gift.
Commodore 64 Sega Master System (Mark 1) Sega Mega Drive (Mark 1, and two of them) Sega Saturn Sega DreamCast Sony PlayStation 2 (I had a PS1 but I sold it because of the PS2's BC) Sony PlayStation Portable Microsoft XBox Microsoft XBox 360 Bandai Barcode Battler! (Lol I still own this silly thing!)
Playstation 2 (Silver, Fat) Playstation 2 (Silver, Slim) Playstation Portable 1000 series (Launch model! First batch ever sent to my country too) Xbox 360 Pro
...it turns out I have more Nintendo consoles than anything else, despite the fact I play Nintendo consoles the least, haha
PS3 (MGS4 80 bundle, so it also handles most of my PS2 gaming save certain titles that don't run right and all of my PS1 gaming). Xbox 360 (pretty much just for exclusive titles at this point, as I'd rather get a game on PS3 when possible) Xbox (recently got FREE from a customer who didn't want it after Gamestop stopped taking trades on original Xbox stuff. I use it for games the 360 can't play) PSP (used more for music than anything, though I do have some good games on it. I mostly play DS for handheld time, though. Sega Genesis (bought on eBay a few years ago. I use it for games I can't get on VC or in collections, including a few unlicensed titles from Wisdom Tree)
My dad has numerous Atari systems ranging from 2600 up through Jaguar. While they aren't TECHNICALLY mine, they might as well be since he never uses them but I do on occasion. Eventual inheritance if nothing else, which makes it worth mentioning imo.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

I actually bought some PS3 games before I bought my PS3 because the games were becoming hard to find and I was waiting for a price drop (yeah that never happened..).
I've got a 360 that I tend to play in spits and spats - not been on it in a while now, though. And I also have a PS2, but that's mostly used by my and my housemates as a DVD player; the only game I actually play now on PS2 is Rugby 08 because EA have yet to release a new version!
