Personally, I don't believe in the existence of FPSes or puzzle games. Still on the fence as to whether text-based adventure games are real or not, though. Those are tricky to pin down :/ why do we need to pigeonhole everything again? just play 'em ffs

FPS arent video games mario games and sonic games are, mario and sonic games have stories and characters
I'm assuming your not old enough to play rated M games.
Sonic has a story that's good enough for a cartoon. Mario's story is non-existent.
Now compare that to something like Bioshock (the heavy borrowing from Ayn Rand aside) or even Halo.
well in england there rated 18 and yes i have played COD for 5 minuets then i got bored and said to my brother its the same as the last one then i said they will annouse a new one next year and it will be exactully the same, its the same with the fifa games THEY ARE THE SAME EVERY YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you even played mario galaxy 1 and 2 the story is huge it goes right into rosalina's past and the end of mario galaxy 1 goes straight into the second one as the luma at the end of one finds mario again so he can take him back to his its mother, FPS's stories are like this some guy is building a nuclear bomb stop him (like thats not been done before)

You see I didn't say Call of Duty,
even then those games aren't the same every year. Granted I buy every other year and skipped MW3 in favor of More Halo.
