So... Empire at War is on sale... anyone know if it is any good?
I got it when it was released, and it wasn't that great to be honest. It was good at making a leap in the Star Wars RTS genre but it would be better if you picked up StarCraft II instead.
I hope they don't just do Star Wars releases, cause I have Empire at War, Republic Commando and Battlefront 1 and 2.

It looks like the game has lots of sound and crashing issues for Vista and Win7.

Oh, it's good. It's not quite what I expected, though. It's more of a Real-time 4X game than a real-time strategy. Still, at that end, it's good. Probably the only RT4X that didn't put me to sleep, and it's not because of the Star Wars themes (never was much of a fan).

I'm assuming it will use the mouse. @Xkhaoz: I wouldn't be too worried about that, from what I hear, the game is a buggy mess; if you can get it to work.
