1) Why would he be? It's Marvel Versus Capcom. Not Marvel Versus Capcom with a tablespoon of Sonic.

Uh, neither Marvel or a Capcom character.

And I'm pretty sure both Marvel and Capcom characters would unite to kick the crud out of Sonic.
